It's getting serious , honestly I don't want to think in a worst case scenario. If people don't want to get the price screwed then they simply shouldn't panic if it gets low and they shouldn't start selling everything even if it's UP , that way we can keep some balance between the supply and the demand . I'm very optimistic though.

If the price goes down after the halving people will lose their nerve and start panic selling 100% and this will lead to even more decreasing of the price. I hope this scenario would not happen and we will see a normal pump and dump like it's expected. Personally I will sit on the sideline and will watch what is going to happen until the end of the year and I will make my move in the winter or during next year. It's very bad to make premature decisions this summer.

It would indeed be so funny if the price would actually go down along with the halving, with everyone expecting it to rise.

Brace yourselves, gentlemen. At the halving I will be emitting the biggest yawn you have ever seen. It will likely suck all the oxygen out of this forum, so strap a tank on.

Well here it is guys. We'll see who is willing to go all in and who isn't. This is the nature of the game! You have to be in it, to win. Those that are sitting on the fence have a 0% chance of profiting, but also 0% chance of losing. But, those of us who are willing to put our money where our mouth is... those of us that are willing to walk the walk... we have a 50% chance of doing well!....... BUT, also a 50% chance of losing it all This is the coming of age/rite of passage for many of you young investors... Boys will become men no matter what happens. I'm willing to play. I'm probably holding more BTC than I should be... but, this trade has been three years in the making. I definitely will not be backing out. 100% Prepared for all outcomes and eventualities... LET'S AVE IT!!!!

It would indeed be so funny if the price would actually go down along with the halving, with everyone expecting it to rise. I dont think it will go down but yes we cant rule out the possibility evwn if chances of it's occurrence is low.I would buy as much coins as I can if prices go down

Hey, cool it! Halving isn't this month, nor next one. I know some speculators are already red hot, but to the average bitcoiners, there's still nothing to see or hear.

Well here it is guys. You want to be "investors," "speculators," "traders?" Well this halving will separate the boys from the men. We'll see who is willing to go all in and who isn't. This is the nature of the game! You have to be in it, to win. Those that are sitting on the fence have 0% chance of profiting, but also 0% chance of losing. But, those of us who are willing to put our money where our mouth is... those of us that are willing to walk the walk... we have a 50% chance of making HUGE BANK!....... Same as me. I'm in. Let's be brave.

In my oppinon it`s better to step out and watch what will happen There is too many thoughts and speculation around halving. Keep calm. it is better if you do not want to take the risk. but if the price go up, you will have to buy again on a higher price ? you will miss the train I agree with you in one condition, if one cannot afford losing, it is better to sell before halving

You could be right, it could be a yawn. Sometimes things do the opposite of what is expected. One good thing about a stable price through the halving would be that new bitcoin users/investors would feel more comfortable getting involved. Sharp moves up or down can scare people away and what bitcoin needs is adoption more than a price rise. More adoption = natural rise in price.

Personally, I'm not bothered about price. I see cyrpto as a replacement for fiat sooner or later, so fiat price is unimportant if it's going to be extinct anyway......

I will just watch as people panic sell or buy whatever they want the price will definitely be unstable at that point. But if most of us just watch as this unfolds none of us should be affected by this.

In my oppinon it`s better to step out and watch what will happen There is too many thoughts and speculation around halving. Keep calm. If you do that you may regret it. A lot of people "stayed out" of bitcoin entirely when they first heard about it back in 2009-10 thinking it just may not work or fail and look where we are at now. If holding some coins then now is not the time to panic sell, just hold sit tight and enjoy the ride.

... Just my guess, and I'm pretty much a wanker at BTC...: Not much will happen. If we get a big move up (yay), well, OK I'll cash-in some BTC for gold. Not very much BTC though. BTC is the closest things I have to a Lotto ticket, so I'll hang on to most of the rest.

If the price drops I will just scoop up some cheap ones and add them to my stock for future keepings. The price will definitely fluctuate in the period. I just want the price to drop so I can get some extremely cheap bitcoins.
