For those who don't know when block halving will be done you can see this updated block halving count down http://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/Thanks for sharing this information and the countdown has really begun and we can really experiencing it by looking at the present rise in the price of bitcoin.

I missed the 2013 $1200 price rise because I was skeptical at that time and preferred to stay aside watching the pump unfold thinking that it's risky to be involved but in the end I was the one who didn't profit anything because I was too scared to buy cheap and hold until the balloon popped. Well this time I am going to be prepared and won't sell anything until I am completely sure every last Satoshi is pumped before the big dump that will bring the price down to normal levels. Buckle up gentlemen because we are starting the rollercoaster ride soon

It is believed that a sharp change in remuneration, while maintaining prices Bitcoin could lead to a drop in motivation to mining, which results will be large, and the monopolization of the volatility of growth cryptocurrency because Many miners deem unprofitable to keep enabled their computing power and go out of the game. Also falling profitability of mining and outflow of market participants may mean reducing the attractiveness of Bitcoin for investment and further popularization.
Such a reduction in the remuneration already occurred in November 2012. At that time, the price of Bitcoin was $ 13, and the particular influence on her event is not produced. Of course, while the Bitcoin was still not known to the general public. Shortly thereafter Bitcoin price has soared to $ 230.

i'm waiting for the effects after the halving to be honest, at the halving there will be most likely nothing, because everyone is expecting it
the pump will always happen when you will not expect it, guaranteed

Yeah bitcoin halving is truly a long time expectation of people. With the hope of increase similar to those experienced during the past halving users were busy buying as much they can.

I am 100% behind you on that one.... people might think selling on the high, will benefit them the most, but I think that would be their biggest mistake. A lot of cheaper coins are going to be going around, just after the selling has been done. The price will go lower than what we have now, and then climb steadily above these prices. If you can buy after the dump phase, then you will be making the biggest profits in the long run. Mark my words.

I’m a miner and I’m not really sure how this is going to affect me; all I know is that my pay is going to be halved and it’s going to be fixed again if the value in bitcoin increases. In preparation I’ve already made sure that my side business is running well so if anything doesn’t go as planned, at least I’ve got my plan B.

What do you mean by present rise in the price of bitcoin? The price has been stable at roughly $450 for almost 3 weeks now. And I don't see it rising anytime this month unless an event is triggered. That would be really good to see though.

not if i buy them first. but i don't think they will dump, even f they do, the price won't drop because there's so many people who will buy before the price drops a lot.

I don't have any good idea of what will happen re BTC prices at and near The Halving. However, it will be very instructive to watch.
There are a lot of confounding issues (hard to see how they interact)...

Please keep us informed! I read very little from miners, your feedback is of great interest.

Well, we'll see! You've made perhaps the biggest bull case yet. Your graphic reminds me of Zero Hedge's famed (and lamented departed one) Gordon_Gekko who once wrote:
"Everything else will be left behind when the Gold Mothership takes off."
Hey, if it's Bitcoin, that's good too!

Guys how can we predict when will be the best moment to sell after the halving? Because people may want to hold for longer than it's actually needed and a lot of opportunities to sell for nice profit may be missed. How do we determine how much of a price increase is enough to dump our stash? Any tips are appreciated thank you.

the hype is real with this one the amount of hype I see just because of halving is so big and I am sure that will cause a lot of shakeouts by the whales even small shakeouts and then there will be a big rise coming to bitcoin. and for the brace myself part, I am well accumulated investor. so I am not worried about anything because I thought ahead.

Personally, I'm not bothered about price. I see cyrpto as a replacement for fiat sooner or later, so fiat price is unimportant if it's going to be extinct anyway...... Yeah, but the extinction will happen not as soon as many of us wish. ) Maybe in 20 or in 30 years from now, but in the nearest future fiat and crypto will be coexisting.

The most people are hoping that the halving will be nice to us but we cant control it and that is the bad thing of the Bitcoin because Bitcoin itself is a currency so that is really bad. But they have to know that it can also takes a long time until the value will be more worth so we need also to wait a longer time.
