After see this topic paypal or bitcoin?, i'm curious who have paypal account these days.
Do you still have paypal account even though you have bitcoin?

I still have a PayPal account but I try not to use it. Bitcoin transactions are so much better than using paypal
As soon as all major e shops accept bitcoin I will close down my PayPal account for good.
i agree with you that bitcoin transaction is very faster and its transaction fees is very much low than paypal , so bitcoin is too much better than paypal because bitcoin is very useful and acceptable in anywhere than paypal , Paypal is not use in some country .
you are right that bitcoin transaction is very faster than paypal.

Yup you're right the transaction fees are really to big and its not really fast not like bitcoin low transaction fees (sometimes nothing) but lot of the websites (if we talk about online buying) lot of websites is not accepting bitcoin as payment I dont know why so they use Paypal though some of sites accepts bitcoin but not all. So yes I do have paypal if i have something to buy online but dont accepts bitcoins so i use paypal but i do prefer Bitcoin Cheesy

Hmm exactly how is Bitcoin faster than PayPal?? I've been using PayPal for a long time, sending/receiving/making payments is pretty much instantaneous. In fact I would say in most cases, PayPal transactions are a lot faster than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is actually pretty unreliable when it comes to transaction times.

Exactly, Paypal is much faster then bitcoin, transaction time is big issue with bitcoin and sometimes it takes more then 3 hours for it to get confirmed which is very irritating.

I don't discriminate and I don't limit my self which one to use, sometimes it is good to use both of them.

Owning both of them and using them is the perfect way even though we like more bitcoin we can't pay everything only by bitcoin.

I have also a payza account so sometimes it's better to have more than one payment method so you are free to use whichever you want.

Well, there are many people still use Paypal beside having bitcoin and I’m one of them. Because many online high-payed jobs require people to have a Paypal account and they don’t pay in bitcoin, Paypal users still account for much of the world population. However, I hope that some day bitcoin will be accepted more widely because Paypal have some big disadvantages and there is no way to get profit by holding money in Paypal.

Don't have paypal and never will with all the horror stories I have heard here on the forums.
It just seems like a liability to have one.

I don't use PayPal anymore since I began to use Bitcoin. It is now almost a year and some months when I completely said bye bye to PayPal. I was also facing problems as there were too many unnecessary regulations. Bitcoin is just better by all aspects without comparison at all. It is injustice even to think PayPal is even near to whatever Bitcoin offers.

That is right. Paypal can hold your account to freeze or under limitation if they found some irregular transactions you have - in bitcoin wallet, there is non - zero questioning at all.

That is the best thing with bitcoins. But I still have m paypal account though to receive some money from my clients and buying online stuff that not accepting bitcoin yet at the moment.
Even though I know that, I still use paypal simply because most of the online stores that I often go to accept paypal. And I never haven't experienced any problems with my paypal account since I never really fund them any more than $500 and I would always withdraw them whenever I'm done with whatever I'm trying to purchase.

I was also using paypal for my use, but after adopting bitcoin now it is not hard for me to buy anything online with bitcoin, you only need to know about those stores where you can shop with bitcoin and then you will not find any issue in there while shopping with bitcoin.

I still use paypal just for the convenience of having to pay for sites that does not accept bitcoin payments. Well, there are quite a lot of online shops that does not accept bitcoin just yet so it is more convenient to keep my paypal account up and funded as a secondary option to bitcoins. This way I am able to manage my online shopping hassle free when ever I face the non-bitcoiners.

This true. It should not be even a matter of question whether to have either or both because the wise person will have both paypal and bitcoin wallets. Both can easily be created and maintain and there is no significant reason why you dump one in favor of the other because they are both handy and for our convenience.

You have a point. But it's not for being a wise.

There are different kinds of customers globally so putting only one payment method in a certain online merchant will just result for limited options by those customers and it will just result for customers to find another merchants.

That's why having a Paypal account together with bitcoin is not a big deal after all because after all bitcoin today can't even touch the majority of merchants that uses Paypal as one of the payment method.

We all know there are merchants that don't accept bitcoin so yes i do have paypal set for my iphone to which is also set for my daughters itune so she could buy stuff there. It still needs my approval but yes paypal still is useful for me.  If i discover how to create fake profiles for paypal lately, i probably faked them but too late i already submitted legit documents to them Smiley

don't forget that having lots of options is not good either. it is wrong to think adding lots of payment options will bring more customers to you. but instead it has been studies that having more than a handful of choices makes customers confused and they may not choose any at all.
