He's been banned many times before. Let's hope he returns. He was the laymans best chance here at even remotely understanding what they were actually investing in or mining. You can't really ban him he will return when he wants to.

You may have not liked how he put his points across, but regardless of what he thinks ...many listened when he spoke and took time to try understand what he wrote. Let's face it he put more effort into this discussion board than anyone else ever.

He is a strange guy. I never encountered anyone so smart who seemingly had no idea how to deal with other people. He was easily offended/upset and also seemed to be in need of an outlet for his personal problems. I have no idea why he would relate some of the things he did on a board like this. However, it kind of made you like him more for being so vulnerable and human as well as so smart. It was often like he needed to prove himself and needed the respect of other super smart people. The criticisms and lack of recognition for his insights from the crypto/coding/math elites seemed to be almost crushing for him and he lashed out.

He was like a super brain that had only encountered humans a couple of hours before finding this board. It was also always so strange that someone like this could be down to his last few BTC in life and almost desperate for cash when average minds that joined after he did had so many. I was fascinated that life could reduce someone this smart to having so little left in terms of financial worth. It must be almost evil to have some much raw talent and yet be held back so much through circumstances beyond your control and choices you made.

I mean the guy was 50 right? I mean I actually believed his physical accomplishments too after looking at his pics. I mean he seemingly had it all and yet even with his great athletic physicality  (baring illness) and his obviously very powerful mind he had less ( in terms of financial security and maybe even happyness) than most of us average joe bloggs. It was weird to me reading his open comments about his life and made you realise that even those given so much naturally do not always do better than those with far less genetically.

The super smart feared (admired in secret ) him because he could find their weaknesses/mistakes where most here could not and was not afraid to start posting about them immediately on this board. The average admired him (because that's what you do when someone is way way smarter and no longer competition) but because he wanted validation from his true peers that meant little to him.

He was very unpredictable.

He reminded me of BCX (the first person on here I used to like reading when i found this board) although he is not as human and open as anonymint.  Both though can turn on you in an instant and throw down serious hate and venom. Or the next moment be totally nice and friendly. You wouldn't dare trust either. Not because they are deliberately devious but they are just so unpredictable in their moods and would think nothing i'm sure of destroying you utterly over a small difference of opinion.

I don't accept he is gone for good. I liked him. He likes it here and will return after a time. If not it will be far more boring here again.

Of course this is just my take on him each of you will have your own. That's the great thing about big characters they leave us with plenty to talk about. If you don't agree he was a big character then that's you opinion but you're wrong.

If he is HONCHO then that's fine with me. Although to me he does not write as nicely as anonymint. There is not a huge amount in it and it could be intentional but anonymint just seemed to polish his posts a little more.

My theory is that he saw something done better in an altcoin than in bitcoin and pointed it out, then WHAM! Banhammer.

Admins, mods, please consider unbanning AnonyMint! I'd like to have him back too!

If you want to make the argument you have to post that in Meta. They are not terribly likely to read some random thread in the Alt section.

Why is this post ban worthy? Why delete it? Can one of the mods please explain their reasoning?

Probably because he was already banned when he posted it. That's generally an automatic delete. But I'm just guessing, you'd have to ask the mods (in Meta).

You'd be surprised what they're reading. I don't have to post the same in Meta again, it's entirely their decision anyway.

No disrespect meant, but I don't know who this guy is.  Can someone drop that knowledge briefly?   Also where did he originally post this?

And he's not the first one to quit like this and he makes a few good points and I don't blame him for leaving.

If you click the quoted post it goes to his netcash/vibes thread where he probably originally posted it, but it got deleted by forum mods.

As far is who he is, a smart but troubled guy who has been posting here prolifically for the past 3 years or so. You can find his past posts under AnonyMint, TPTB_need_war, and a few others.
Thank you smooth, I have read many a post by TPTB but did not know he was the same guy.  The only internet access I have is on my phone, which sucks for reading very long posts and so I don't do that usually.  Well, people come out of retirement all the time.  Perhaps he'll warm back up to the forum again in time.

Fucking well said

and

The fact that morons are talking shit in this thread and trying to compare dick sizes saddens me greatly. You dumb fuckers should be thinking about his parting words and what they mean about the overall state of affairs.

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam

... good post ...

I will miss anonymint too, but he was sailing to close to madness, so I'm hoping he'll get perspective away from this forum. Being sick & stressed and financially inseure, and then spending 12-14 hours a day reading/writing about crypto here isn't a healthy way to exist.

Get well, come back!!!

I told him last time he said this like 2/3 months back don't leave etc.
I think we had recently disagreed on some things but agreed on others.
I told him i like his contributions to things and he should maybe have a break if needed but i vote stay.
But if he had enough then i guess it's his choice.

I did similar last year and was off away for a couple months.
I would pop by on random occasions to make a comment but i was pretty much gone.

The state of affairs is dire and it's not getting better.. it's getting worse.
All we have is people dropping money into schemes then defending them to death.. forever.
And when some of them are unfair by design for example we got problems big time.

I think he "got it" and understood what we really need.
For example how the hell is Ethereum and improvement on Bitcoin ?
It's step in reverse that you are all pouring money into.. for nothing but "profits"
And he was probably honest when he said he predicted the centralization.. i believe him.

I dunno he may need some time away and will probably come back i bet.. unless he drops dead.
I keep coming back year after year to see if a new advancement / new promising coin will come out.
You never know when something world changing will unfold with no warning.

I think the only guy who ranted with longer posts than mine LOL
And what proof do we have that he was banned anyway ?
His ALT account may have been and it may have nothing to do with him leaving too.

I like having all peoples voices heard.. i vote all people stay as long as they are being reasonable.

Where did you read in his "final" message an explicit reference to "leaving"?

The borderline schizophrenia makes it plausible for him to post from a split personality.

They're both pretty smart, but very different in style. They also both have people saying they aren't so smart. At some point that sort of distinction comes down to a matter of interpretation. Clearly neither is stupid.

On AnonyMint,

Whether you loved him or hate him, everyone read or at least skimmed his posts.
He is a big draw for the discussions forum, the more readers the more ads sold , so from a financial perspective
BtcTalk is better off with him , than without him.  Smiley

AnonyMint DiSC profile is easy to determine :

C goes for Competence seeking. A high C is sceptical toward his/her surrounding who is not viewed as favourable to his/her interest and is considered outside his/her control. A high C is motivated by maintaining high standards and quality in his/her work with an attention to details preventing him/her from making mistakes. A high C is capable of a calm communication style or more insistent depending on the situation (if a point needs to be proven for example).
