Bitmain is a financial investor behind Wings. Bitmain invested because we see a great team, and we know about only recently the specific details of Wings and it's no letdown at all.

Think of Wings like the DAO of DAOs, or like a kickstarter of DAOs. 

As with all crypto-networks people wanting to use the service of the network need to pay transaction fees, new DAOs will have the opportunity to give to the Wings DAO, therefore its members, a portion of the new DAO's tokens upon launch.

Is it safe to assume that the only Lisk can be used to invest in Wings?

I think it's actually better to invest in the actual DAO and see how that works out before investing in a copy.

Some would argue that the original DAO is Bitcoin, but that's all water under the bridge at this point. It seems to have worked out pretty well.

We're very happy to see the adoption that Slock.It's The DAO Hub is seeing, as news of the $150+ million token sales gives exposure to a larger community of people outside the crypto echo chamber. 
The Wings team has been working on this for some time and we can say that while Wings is also a DAO like "The DAO", the focus is on being a simple to use DAO platform to enable even more DAOs to pop up like mushrooms in a Merkle tree forest. 

We're also working on a very cool decentralized chatbot technology that will make it unbelievably easy to launch, manage and participate in new DAOs using Ethereum smart contracts - and plan to support the EVM both on Ethereum and Bitcoin (when Rootstock is out).

I'm only technical adviser, and help them when i have time and they need help.

Just asking to clear some things up, since it was kind of strange to run another ICO for DAO just right after working for a DAPPS ICO start-up.

I serve as an advisor to LISK and not as a developer. To clarify, i am not under any contract with LISK and i do not receive any sort of compensation from LISK.

Thanks for clearing it up, the concept seems interesting btw, specially the: setting up and managing a DAO with no coding knowledge

Wings will have its own augmentation layer network but will support any popular network which has a running EVM (currently we are targeting Ethereum and Rootstock).

No idea if this project is serious or not. But being a technical advisor is like being a board member. It takes little time, is issue specific and many people do it parallel with a dayjob.

Let me little correct you. Wings are going to support ANY popular network, and we prefer a EVM, but in our plans support Lisk too. We in contact with Max and he knows our plans here.

Let me little correct you. Wings are going to support ANY popular network, and we prefer a EVM, but in our plans support Lisk too. We in contact with Max and he knows our plans here.  

You should put that in BOLD in your OP or FAQ

and not hide that fact.  Don't be ashamed to say you are going Full Bull on Lisk.

lot of people would rather you say you were partnering up with lisk and this whole ecosystem is crypti 2.0.

microsoft didn't change the name of windows even though the software behind it has been swapped out a zillion times by now and is nowhere close to what it was at what windows 3.1.  Why give up on your roots and say were with "everyone".  To me that is more of a cop out.

Basically if your first "marketing" campaign is on Bitcointalk then chances are you're fishing for easy targets.

Most of the team has spent a lot of time on this site, and we felt it is the right place to make a pre-announcement to the Wings ICO.  Having said that the crowd on Bitcointalk is probably more discerning and having a keen eye on calling just about every coin a scam than the general Internet crowd
