You shouldn't invest. As bitcoin will surely grow larger and larger, you better wait and then think about what to do with what you have.

First of, you are lucky you have that much. Being in your place I'd just hold them doing nothing because that's a big money and investing is too risky IMO. But if you are going to invest anyway, just avoid Cloud Mining and be very carteful with the rest. |

Yea It is good to invest money.That is 1000x better than keep money in wallet.I know one site where you can buy shares for 12 btc and after couple of weeks shares will worth x20 more anf after about 1 year it will worth about 200x more than now.Pm me for more info.

You could convert those 12 btc into Ether.
If you are lucky, the price compared to bitcoin increases. Then sell it.
If not it falls, and you lose money.
Its means your advice still not help OP, i know all investment has risk, whatever its low or high risk. But why you adviced ether as the best investment for him? I don't think so if you can make profit from invested in that coin |

You should buy alt coins for 1 btc,only those which show good result in future.
You can go for ether,its price gonna match btc soon in coming years and you can also go for yovi ,its price is also rising rapidly.

12 btc is not a small amount to have in your wallet, so without taking any risk with it I would prefer to hold it for future to gain maximum benefits from it.

If you want to grow your 12 BTC into much higher price, then study the Bitcoin price in the online price chart. You can see this at Trading Sites. If you see that the Price of Bitcoin is hiking, then that's good. Wait it until you want to sell it. And also, you can also buy some altcoins at trading sites. For example you want to exchange your BTC into HTC. Then buy some HTC worth 200 Sats. And if you want to get back your BTC, then you have to sell your HTC on higher price. 250 Sats will be good or much higher. Just always Buy when the price is Low, and Sell when the price is High. |

If I had that amount which is near 13.000 USD or a bit more, for 10.000 USD I would buy myself a nice used Mercedes Benz car. You can buy for this price only at Mobile.de and the rest keep in my wallet about 5 BTC.
Or you can divide this amount in different amounts let's say 4 x3000 USD. 1 of the 3000 USD you can try texas holdem if you have skill. 2. You can try trading (I am highly against this but with that amount you can try)
3. Can try to invest in legit cloud mining like Hashnest (better wait for S9 antminer to come out and invest 3000 USD there, it will be profitable for at least 6-8 months). 4. Let's keep it in your wallet in case a catastrophic loss happens and you lose all of your coins.
This is my speculation what I would do if I had that amount.

Investing in altcoin can be risky as we never know what will be its future so to be on safe side its better to save it for future to earn higher profits from it. |

this is a good suggestion and good traders can make a lot of profit this way with 6 BTC but if you are new like OP here or if you have little experience in altcoin trading then goingin with nearly $4000 is not a wise decision to make. |

You may invest that in bitcoin just wait the price rise for your profit. Now is the time to invest bitcoin while the price not yet increase. So if you have 12btc that big amount to invest it in bitcoin maybe in next 2 months your btc is getting double. Bitcoin now is better than to a another altcoins.

Just wait and holding all your 12 bitcoins in your wallet until the halving come. Because i think the price of bitcoin will increase when the halving come, and when it happen, go sell all your bitcoin.
