There are/were many blockchain projects targeting artists and music audience. Audio Coin, Metal Music Coin, VST Coin, VOISE etc.
They are just tokens not the platform, even if owners called them so, they are not. Alternatives as platforms are Lbry, SteemIt but with lots of differences.

I love this coin, have been here since almost the very begining and havn't sold a single coin that I have mined. Would love to see more regular updates on the reward/support platform, I can't wait to start supporting and rewarding artists for their works whether it be art, literature, or music. Keep up the good work guys!

Also question is who are those people who hodl XRE: minnows or whales ;-)

with a price so low it's easy become a whale, look cryptopia someone bought about 500k XRE for 0.43btc  

very funny to becoming a whale here and we should not be afraid from this comedy.

When the sources on github are updated, Barney wrote at the beginning that it will be a long project and many people are just too impatient I wish them many luck with the XRE shopping   

In anticipation of the XRE halving event there are a couple of thoughts and updates that I would like to share with you guys.

The second halving is going to happen tomorrow and the reward would be 32 XRE per block. Yay! There are much less coins for market dumps and the price is pretty stable without much promo campaigns. Another very important point is that main total supply is 22 million (there was a typo in the beginning of the discussion, not 29 million as some say). The tail emission is 2 XRE and would secure the network with mining infinitely.

I keep working on the decentralized reward principles on blockchain and I felt being excited about some discovered things and not really about the others. The main thing is there is going to be implemented a specific type of decentralized reward accumulative fund system which is very close to a Proof-of-Stake system. Adding such kind of a system would provide the required functionality and secure the network side by side with configured POW. The downside of the solution would be big efforts that have to be made to accomplish this task. Though the reward system is exactly what XRE project has been started for, isn't it? Anyway RevolverCoin is a long term project with the transparent roadmap and clear goals, so step by step, we're moving forward.

Generators are POS (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof-of-stake) nodes which generate emission and commit transactions to the blockchain. Nevertheless the consensus can be of POS, POW or hybrid type. Generators are physical nodes that perform a certain work required for the network and referred as a computing resource. In blockchain a generator is represented by the record that contains generator’s address and locked certain amount of currency, which guarantees the generator node owns a stake and participates in the network consensus process.

Looks similar to the masternodes concept, but only Barney can clarify this point
