I don't expect we will see huge price increase right after halving will hit us. It won't be sudden price spike and 100% increase as many people believe it to be.
Market will react slowly and will correct itself slowly, it will take couple months or maybe even more for us too see real impact of halving.

Electricity costs next to nothing in some parts of the world, people know to rig electricity meters. The big miners will not be switching off. Arguably it'd be a good thing if smaller scale miners gave up as it just limits supply of couns even more = higher prices.

we have found a feedback loop miners should be wary about

when the halving occurs, equipment prices decrease and

mining power surges with a leap in network strength futher

diluting mining returns, most likely this guarentees a

big jump in btc price, because the negative effects on

mining is actually greater than 50%

If you want to earn good profits from bitcoin then you need to wait for next few months of halving, as price will go much higher after halving.

 lot of the big miner farms like KNC built on the assumption that BTC prices could never fall below $650 usd. They also bet on 'cloud hosting mining'

So yeah with 1/2 the payout in BTC and the same power and expenses a few could  pull the plug if the price of BTC does not significantly rise to compensate

I do not think there will be panic sell or panic buy. If the price drops below $400, I will buy a lot of it.

I'm also eagerly awaiting the second halving. A lot of Bitcoiners seem to think that the halving will lead to immediate price increases. Personally I'm quite skeptical: Since everybody knows about the effect of the halving it should be already priced in. Nonetheless it's somehow exciting to see an algorithm at work that generates immediate financial consequences.

So for me the halving is first and foremost a great opportunity to simply celebrate the birth of Bitcoin with a beer or two...
