it's still far to start flying maybe the price of bitcoin would be start rise 15 days left before halving except the price can break $500 in this month maybe we will see the price of bitcoin flying high.

We might see some interesting and biggest changes on the price of btc..whether it will go up or it will go down..
cause nobody has proven that bitcoin prices increases when halving takes place

Yes, I agree. No doubt it will go one way or the other.  Either based on the fear it might go down , or less supply of it. Interesting times we live in.

People are starting to doubt the possibility of bitcoin's value spiking by the time of the halving, which is, I'm not sure whether if it's good or bad. Bad, because most of the people have invested and expected a rise, good, because the price is stable. It has better and larger room for adoption.

I think this time price and demand expectation are already priced in to the market rate. I agree with a few sentiments above: sideways.

Electricity costs next to nothing in some parts of the world, people know to rig electricity meters. The big miners will not be switching off. Arguably it'd be a good thing if smaller scale miners gave up as it just limits supply of couns even more = higher prices.

Wait you can rig your electricity meter to get free electricity while mining? But how can you cover the thousands of kilowatts that the mining hardware is pulling from the grid? Does this trick really work in practice? I imagine you can't just stop the electricity meter from working 24/7 as this would look very suspicious to the electricity company lol.

Miners stopping does not limit the supply in any way, as if blocks are solved on average every 10 minutes, new coins are still being minted throughout that time, it just changes who they go to.

Any  anyone can rig their meter, its just getting caught that's the problem. Some of the older meters you could slow down with magnets or somehow stop the thing turning. Or tap into the wiring before the meter (risky)

Of course, this is illegal to do and I don't endorse it.

I also expect a good amount of volatility during the last days before the block halving.

I'm not really a trader myself but I will most definitely do some trading to benefit from the heavy price swings.

80% profit in 2 months is not going to happen. I am not sure from which price you bought but at best i do expect a rise to maybe 500 dollar.
Everything else is just hope and will turn out to be a bad dream. Make sure to hold longer and your chance to get more profit will grow.

nothing will happen at the halving, at this point i'm expecting something major later this year or even early 2017
I feel the same and unless there is some big controversy like last year we had the auction, we could expect nothing positive this year as well. 2016 is half over and may be by December, we can expect a rise and fall.

Is it really true that the halving is going to start over 49 days because I am not sure if it is going to happen. If the halving is going to start then the price is going to be cheaper I believe. This is better for the people that want to invest more and and not have much money to spend.

Yes, actually bringing the price down prior to halving is also possible if wanted by the whales so that even if it goes to double due to the effect of halving then the price wont be too high.

We can't say it blankly. At least a small impact will occur over bitcoin price on halving. After this if the technology permits we could see a gradual increase that might reach a higher value when it reaches near to December.

No one knows exactly what will happen when will comes halving. Investors do not like situations like this, so I foresee that in the near future the price of Bitcoin will fall .. not much, but i don't expect growth in next 2 - 3 weeks.

the following halving day will be longer or even shorter, depends on people paying the fee. i am not sure if there are a major effect of bitcoin halving, because demand is not based on GH active, you know. centralization will not give a decent effect to bitcoin.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

Halving just means that the block reward gets cut in half. That's it!!And this will happen!!
Anything else you are talking is pure price speculation.
If we assume that demand stays the same and only 1800 coins get new created each day we will see a price increase over the long run.
And your last sentence is pure nonsense. People who really want to invest in Bitcoin will do so whenever they can.
But again you are talking about speculation!!Buy as cheap as you can and maybe sell for a bit more profit.Speculation and an investment are two different things.
