Its a worried situation now, halving is near and price is not moving up, it again has started to go down, so I don't think halving will fulfill our expectations.

Halving is yet to take place, whether near or far.
Not important whether the price goes up currently or not, it is going to rise in the future. So, don't worry.

Yeah just believe that bitcoin will rise again above 700 or 800 value and i think this week we will see more increase..

Exactly, but I think you should not sell now, but you should wait for some more time, as majority of users have a feeling that price will again start to rise as we get near to halving.

I think that nobody recommend to sell the bitcoin now, it is not a right moment, neither the price is good [it was better last week(s)], the price today has been dropped for 30 dollars and don't know how long will this go but hope the halving will increase its price.

Buying coins at the current price isn't a wrong move, at least if we are to based with the expected future price trend. Same scene like this are present last $500 or evern at $400 where these prices are considered high by most of the people community so they hesitate to buy coins back the.

i cant say price will increase or decrease tommorow. On one day the bitcoin prices increases by 100$ and on the next day it decreases by 50$. This has been happening for a week now and i am unable to make any forecasting

I don't think many thought of that third option of being part of the halving scenario. 
Shame really for a lot of people had spent a fair bit in buying beforehand thinking the price would explode but it fizzled a couple of weeks before then dropped and it is at what we are at now.
Kinda disappointing really.

Not really disappointing,  we where sitting at below £300 for long enough and then it rallied all the way to to £500 where its now sitting pretty strong at.  I doubt we will drop too much further and a stable bitcoin will allow more investors to put their trust in it.  It will go up eventually.

Not really disappointing,  we where sitting at below £300 for long enough and then it rallied all the way to to £500 where its now sitting pretty strong at.  I doubt we will drop too much further and a stable bitcoin will allow more investors to put their trust in it.  It will go up eventually.

One thing is sure and no one noticed last year at December bitcoin were traded from 250-300 dollars, in January bitcoin reached 400-450 dollars without anything happen besides the halving moment. Soo people were dreaming with bigger ammount but this new value is realistic, bitcoin has doubled and has a strong support at the almost 700 dollars that is the next step to achieve.

Well, it's pretty (pardon the use of word) stupid for people to think that the price would suddenly jump or suddenly fluctuate to a dramatic extent.
Looking back at the first halving, it took about two months for the price to actually double. So I guess it is only fair that we wait and see what happens. Let's give it time.

Most times speculation is the other of the day leaving out the reality which is the forces of demand and supply (the market forces) which goes a long way in determining whether price will increase or decrease as things Dont just go white and black... Its a lesson for everyone though... My 2 cents

It has long term effect and we should think it as on macro level. There is absolutely no change after halving but that’s not the period to judge the effects of halving. We will see it till mid of next year (2017) and we might see some huge and quick fluctuations till that time. I have strong opinion that bitcoin will start moving upwards (towards real value of it) only after these fluctuations. There will be golden chance during fluctuations for those who want to enter in bitcoin at lower levels. We would see effects of halving on a large timeline.

Nothing happened. It did not reach $1000 or even close to that.  
It dropped right before down to $618. Which was a shock to most people who bought a lot just days before.
