Low quality has taken on a new meaning in this forum. As long as you drone on and create lazy sentence after lazy sentence, somehow having more characters in your post means it's not low quality.  It's fucking low quality if I have to read the same reply to a question 15 different ways that are a paragraph long. You can easily have a constructive post that is concise.

An "ignore all" function won't solve the original problem of "low quality" posts.
Well said, young man.  And as an example, check out that stupid fucking "cupcakes for bitcoin" thread.  I'm on my phone and am far too unmotivated to provide a link.  It's instructive to read through the comments and realize that no one realizes the thread and idea had long been abandoned by the OP.  It's a bunch of "but how the cpcakes will stay fresh" bullshit responses, over and over and over.  I begged the great horned one to strike that thread DEAD.  If you check it out, please please don't resurrect it.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

I find almost all threads/postings from people with ad campaigns in their signature have such an extremely low content, that I would like to see a button to ignore them all at once. Please ...

Must be leading by example and showing us how to make quality posts.

So much better now  Grin

Almost all? Least you are not full on biased, way to keep that door open in case you need to back pedal a little bit.
I find you to be very low content as well,so it is a mutual feeling right back you! Wink

Sometimes I check back and show ignored postings. Almost all of them are writing senseless stuff, like "Bitcoin will remain an eternal secret and its creator is watching this forum" (add some extreme grammar errors for the real experience). It is obvious, that these comments are posted only for sig spamming and not to contribute something (at least funny) to the topics, like Lauda does.

So, thanks again Lauda and Danny. This forum is a better place with the ignore list Cheesy

totally agree something needs to be done
but even with ignore list you still must search through pages and pages of ignored comments
to find anything useful or informative

comments which are actually worth reading, are needles in haystacks in bitcointalk
