I have news for everybody-

While I have been watching and commenting on these new "releases" from other "vendors" my contractors have finished the design and simulation on a 28Nm ASIC chip!

Since the chip is half the size of a BFL chip we were able to have 64 hashing cores not 16 (4x a BFL) but the chip is the same size and should have approx the same energy consumption of 8w for 500mHz once mounted to a board with fairly standard cooling. We haven't taken any short cuts and everything about this design is top end for speed, stability, and cooling.

Yes that is right - 64 hashs x 500mhz = 32ghs per chip!

I have funded all this development myself

The PCB design will have 8 chips for a total of 256ghs at around 64w!!! That is just simulation and will depend on cooling etc

On that front to cut costs the board will actually be 2 block of 4 chips, spaced so you can use standard CPU coolers. But I will not be providing these coolers. This allows you to choose your preferred cooling method- cheap coolers, high end full contact heat pipes- or even off the shelf water cooling systems!!
I also won't be suppling some crappy PSU- you can source one to your taste. I recommend getting adapter cables which would have one power jack off the 12v line of a 4 pin molex, or 2 coming off a 6pin PCI-E plug, or 3 off an 8 pin. This would allow you to use efficient power off your host computers PCU

That means that 256Ghs at $2950AUD. That is 2.25 times the price of a BFL single but giving you 4x the performance, and nothing wasted you didn't want as you can do your own modding. The heat sinks can be as little as $40 each and you already have the PSU.

Now my issue is I have funded all the design work on the chips and boards to here, but I need to secure bank funding to develop masks and do test wafers (the test wafer will only be used for test boards which will be kept in house for testing-and sent out for independent verification)
The bank doesn't really understand bitcoin or ASICs or the fact that this product will have HUGE demand. They will not approve the loan until I have at least 100 different customers prove they want to buy at least one board each.
So I am asking for deposits of 10% which is $300 in bitcoins to convince the bank to allow continued progress.

Sorry no images at this point because we have only just finished the chip design and simulation, and I can't confirm shipping dates. All the chip manufacture will be done by one company, and handed locally to the PCB maker and assembler-so little delay once testing is complete

To confirm your deposit please send $300AUD worth of bitcoins to:
17b7tyxRtrwRMdzv6mpANdwhdKTd46Mri2
just include your email address and name to secure your place. I will confirm final dates and shipping options when boards are ready. Shipping will be directly out of Taiwan even though I am based in Australia.

Wow this scamming thing is easy! That didn't take long to write but I included more fake details than anybody else!

I forgot to include fear as well as greed in my pitch- if you aren't one of the 100 customers to place deposits then you may not be in the first production batch of boards since many customers will want many many boards at once

NOTE THE ABOVE IS FAKE I HAVE NOT AND WILL NOT BE SELLING ASICS

but feel free to tip me at

Payment for 12 sent!

Told you that customers would want to to be scammed for many boards each- I mean order many boards each. CHaan Noi would you like to beta test the mondo miner which has 16 of these boards in a rack mount or desk mount case? It will have a 1500w platinum PSU and integrated water cooling. I don't want to announce final specs until fully tested

Who said anything about being Australian? I'm a totally trustworthy Kiwi!!

BTW I'm leaving Australia in a few weeks to go to Shanghai (true story)
to make it easier to supervise the completion of this ASIC project (not true story)

SCAM PRE SALE UPDATE
I have been flooded by inquiries about the mondo miner. The feed back is that 16 boards would push the price above that of a mini rig, and most want something with less investment.
So instead I will do a mini mondo miner first which will have 4 boards and a cheaper water cooling system. Units will mounted to each other with standoffs and a radiator which would be easy to bolt into a rack case, or stack-able as a desktop/shelf top system. Projected price with water cooling but no PSU (to allow you to cater for your own expansion needs) will be under ~$12,000AUD and with the top shelf cooling clocked well over 1Ths. Power usage including cooling should be around 300w.
Hang on? Half the power of an Avalon producing over 1Ths? Is this too good to be true? Yes for a while anyway....28Nm ASICs are coming in the second half of the year but got nothing to do with me (other than buying some!)

has anyone who selected local pickup recieved a confirmation email? how can they be booked for the whole week then?
i'm quite sure i wahas anyone who selected local pickup recieved a confirmation email? how can they be booked for the whole week then?
i'm quite sure i was one of the earliest orders of local pickup and have recieved nothing.s one of the earliest orders of local pickup and have recieved nothing.

I asked for local pickup on day 1, justo to check the units. Of course never got a reply.

The funny thing is that this suckers will finally manage to scam at least a couple of greedy bastards. I'm 100% positive about that.
Same here. Ordered 2 of them and evem mailed after that to check it.
No reply!
Does it mean it`s a SCAM? No. Tells a lot though :/.

Well, there are many other red-flags that indicates clearly that this is a scam.

And this is so obvious that it is the same user behind as primeasic... Note to moderators, could you please block user "n0v41337" NOVALEET?!?!?

So here are more details on the analysis of this scam, it's a kid, probably not mature... without any knowledge in web design, product marketing and especially not in micro electronics engineering.

One of their domains it at lease 10 months old, so they got all the time to prepare this carefully.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers
