The final assembly looks very simple. I could make 10 an hour if all the parts and such were ready to go.

No you could not. Too many screws would require more than 6min per Avalon.

Tell you what, as soon as I receive my units, I invite you to my house and give you 2 hours to practice. If you can assemble one in less than 6min, you win 25 BTC. If not, you give me 25 BTC. Deal? That would be a faster way for me to win 25 BTC rather than waiting to solve a block Cheesy

Even with 20 minutes, to assemble one Avalon is not a easy thing.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

All speculation, we could come out with all kinds of far fetched ideas all day.  Bottom-line, we wait, we watch and March 10th is the Batch deadline so lets send good thoughts that he has been working hard to meet that deadline and then on to Batch #2.

I received my units from DHL and I never got an email ahead with tracking

But as stated earlier, you can call them up and they can look in their system if you have packages headed your way

I just received my Avalon! I didn't get a tracking number in advance, and just yesterday afternoon DHL said they didn't see anything coming my way. So don't assume it's not on the way if DHL doesn't find it in the system.

what name is mentioned on your waybill? In my case it was not my company (as instructed during the order) but only my personal name

Did they search for the right keyword?

It could be that DHL just sucks, there is a reason why I always use a competitor ;-)

I got mine in the US via DHL "Express Worldwide" (WPX).
DHL doesn't deliver in the US on Sat or Sun.

Same for Europe

But you can go to a UPS depot and pick up your package on Saturday usually (but you'll need a tracking number to tell them which one you want of course. Most likely they will have called you first)
