France was able to defeat the world champions Germany, I think the opportunity for France champion very high especially when they play at home.

Agree.I thought Portugal would one of the teams to be out  long time back.But they didn't.That's the beauty of Football,the predictions can always result in unexpected situations.However Germany was quite a expected winner,too sad France took them over.I can see France winning the Cup,no offense to Ronaldo but France is way better in team play.

Portugal managed to weasel out of the grip of Croatia which honestly was the far better team. How can you be sure that France is the clear favorite just because they are the host country? Do you remember how Greece won the title in 2004? With ugly, defensive play and being lucky on the counter attacks that's how.

It's exactly my point, why I think that Portugal have good chance to beat France in Final.
They already showed that they have very good defense, one extra player which can decide game at any point, very good nervs and mentality etc.
They play like Greece in 2004 and we know how this story ended, right?
France didn't show much until now.
Only serious challenge they had with Germany and they was weaker team.
Their defense is not good enough, so it will be interesting to see what will happen in Final.
It seems that their main stars like Payet or Pogba, are to tired.

Portugal have been the dark horses nobody saw them coming this far and France have hardly been convincing even though they attempted to play against Germany and scored two goals that were not their creation but Germany's own doing! France never threatened Germany but defended a whole 90 minutes. The referee got the penalty very wrong for a semi-final, had it not been given nobody would have made any headline about a penalty not given! Portugal going into this final as underdogs and less favourite where I believe Ronaldo will again be the star man along with Nani! I know all bookies favour France but if they played that Germany team again Germany would sweep them!

I am not sure France will win the Euro, Portugal play very well in defense and their gameplay so far with 5 draws just emphasize this. Beside that if you see players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani play for the team during this Euro 2016 and not in individual play like they play most of their games. This shows that Portugal has grown up a lot from the times , of Nuno Gomez and Luis Figo, Rui Costa which all these were great players but they played in an individual gameplay, they only cared about attack. Now Cristiano and Nani also come back in defense. I don't know about the winner but my hunch is Portugal will hold this cup in the end. My bet is Under 2.5 goals and Portugal to win the euro in regular time, added time or with penalties.

Portugal has made it this far with their lame performance and they might win it at the final against france. There is no denying that france is so much better than portugal in statistics, however portugal has proven that their luck is totally the best among all the others so why not taking a risk with portugal? A small risk might worth it
