If you could get a copy of the times article that satoshi quoted and mount it in a frame to hang on the wall.

Quote
The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks

An actual copy of the newspaper would also be a "bitcoin collectible" item.

Very nice five-year anniversary find! It's nice to see that the prominence of the front page headline, that appears as the headline you would choose from the front page, not the one you would choose if you were making a political statement (but the genesis could have been "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Eat Out from £5").

The text is exactly what is in the blockchain, while online versions have a longer headline.

Thanks for the reply.  I agree with your comment, this is the headline in a major newspaper which is over 200 years old, probably on the day the genesis block was created.  This may indicate to some the choice is non political.

However please consider all these three factors together:
1. The timing of the genesis block, so soon after the November 2008 financial crisis
2. The Times article referenced in the genesis block
3. The below comment from Satoshi in February 2009

Quote
The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust. Banks must be trusted to hold our money and transfer it electronically, but they lend it out in waves of credit bubbles with barely a fraction in reserve.1

Given these three facts combined, I think its reasonable to assume the project was at least partially inspired by a degree of economic and political objectives.  Not that I am saying this is negative or positive.

I think Satoshi read the paper because the headline is slightly different online.  However we can't be sure.

Anyway the Bitcoin collectible looks great framed on my wall:

I think not:

The text is exactly what is in the blockchain, while online versions have a longer headline.

On the other hand, it is possible that he chose a headline on a physical paper because it can't be modified like an online version.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.
