For many people gambling is fun whether they win or lose. Winning is more fun of course. For other people, losing is not fun at all. Then there are those for whom winning and losing doesn't affect them either way. For instance in poker, there are a certain number of players who can go through long losing streaks and lose hand after hand after hand or not cash in tournaments and it doesn't affect them. Similarly, they can go on hot streaks, winning many hands and or cash in a number of tournaments and not get too excited either. They are more focused on making the correct plays and long term profit.

in my opinion gambling is only fun as long as you are winning and it becomes super fun if you win a very big amount either if it is the jackpot or even you bet big and win big. but it becomes super annoying when you lose especially if you are on a losing streak.

the fun in gambling is losing money...  but if you win thats better:) Hate gambling! Makes me sad. But playing is fun. I think its only fun because money is involved though. I think people wouldn't enjoy it else they would play for fun but they don't. Its the winnings that keeps the! Coming back. Or to chase after their loses. |

the fun in gambling is losing money... but if you win thats better:) yeah, there is no fun in losing money. i have the same feeling sometimes but i change the strategy most of the time to make things exciting again but whenever i end up losing i get disappointed again. |

So our FUn cost is many coins in gambling. Some time it will turn positively but later again it repeats. |

The skill games are the most fun in gambling for me. Like texas holdem, even blackjack which is generally not very skilled but card games seem more fun than clicking buttons on a screen or pulling a level to let a random number generator pick your win or loss.

I think gambling touch the most basic instincts of many people, and that is the release of powerful endorphin in the brain, when they get exited. These chemicals primary function were to inject adrenaline into the system, when people were threatened in nature.
Lately no real threat has pushed people to release this adrenaline in their every day life, because we are at the top of the food chain, so people get a taste of that rush, when they take risks in gambling and then get addicted to that feeling. This push them to take bigger and bigger risks, to increase the release of this reactions in the brain, and they get addicted even more, until it get out of control.

Fun in gambling is when you enjoy the game no matter what result is whether lose or win, but a win would be more fun especially if you win a big amount just from small amount like hitting jackpot.
That's the real fun in gambling, you don't have to be drag down by your emotions when you loose otherwise you are not for the fun but for the luck and that is not fun anymore. because you are aiming for a goal to win a huge luck which will eventually take a lot of bets. |

Yes the ups and downs of gambling makes it more interesting always. Uncertainty and the chances of making money are the biggest supporting things, that gambling to be fun filled all the time. If you are able to make some money from it then you can find extra fun from gambling always. |

Definitely. Like although blackjack is mostly chance, it still gives you the chance to revise your strategy in game. And poker is also a lot more skill based than dice. That's one of the reasons I don't like slots, and rather play card games. I also like to play bustabit, because it offers you the option to quit when you want to. |

The real fun in gambling is when you watch the games you bet with playing in a thrilling passion. As a gambler, we have our preference of games to play with, in my case I play in sports betting as it gives me a quality time analyzing the match up prior to the actual game. I can say that I am a sports capper but not a professional one as my record cannot justify it for now, maybe 1 to 2 years if my record will stay consistent then I would conclude it that I am already a professional.

Sports betting is still comparatively easier than other kind of gambling. You only need to know about the competing teams and game and you can win the bet so sports betting is fun but other types of gambling are lot riskier, you can never win them.
