I think privacy coins are good for the future, they have use-case and privacy which is needed in the crypto space. I like RYO and the their development path towards decentralizing. After all projects with this type of vision are going to survive in the end.

I like the fact that 42 is both 'public' and 'privacy.' But I popped in to note that 1.97-2.00 buy-sell spread (on Livecoin) is a real achievement. People must be able to buy and sell 42 with a tight spread. Now we gotta increase volume on XBTS and Altmarkets.

42-Coin Friday (but unpublished . . . )'the epidemic maybe over [in China] by the end of March' https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/02/cloneofcloneofcloneofcloneof200215224437270-2002-200219231442918.htmlRubbish!! This is going to be a strange year for cryptos and economies. I have been fairly carefully following the coronavirus drama. So, it’s not going to be like ebola-gone-global, with millions of deaths. It’s becoming clear that the major impact will be economic. And it seems that looking for direct correlations – like ‘coronavirus = cryptos up' – isn’t helpful. There are just too many variables. https://cointelegraph.com/news/coronavirus-spreads-and-crypto-rallies-but-not-everything-is-relatedExcept for one thing: governments have been pumping bizarre amounts of stimulus into the global economy since the GFC began in late 2008. We are moving past ‘original stimulus,’ and we are moving into ‘eco-stimulus’ as climate-change mitigation strengthens. But now we have a new stimulus: anti-corona. And it can only affect 42-coin positively because we are the real deflationary instrument. As crazier and crazier amounts of stimulus hit the system, folks can only begin to lose confidence.

Hi. All these transactions have reached their destination. These coins can't be swapped for new ones, because they were mined after block #1990382 (84 coins in the old chain).

Can you please explain to me the reason for using both PoW and PoS as consensus algorithm in your project? If you are using PoS then there is no reason for PoW, can you clarify me, please?

Hybrid systems are always more secure and decentralized than pure PoS or PoW. This is especially actual for 42, because there is no block reward, only transaction fees for PoW miners. Unlike PoW miners, PoS miners destroy transaction fees - create deflation and make the remaining coins more rare and valuable.

Had a great chat with RICH about an exchange that would only have pairs of energy-efficient coins.

I can't resist interjecting, have a look here: https://www.instructables.com/id/Solar-Powered-Raspberry-Pi/I'm doing basically same thing at moment (same solar cell setup, but with rockchip board instead of raspi). Results have been good running UNO node on it, and powering old gridseeds to mine BOB. Still trying to cobble the sdr radio functions together, but for simply broadcasting a qr to buddy via sw works. I'm sure if you experimented with such a setup for *your* use case, it would yield at least data for scaling up if need be.
