The online store for children's toys and computer games, e-igrace in Slovenia now accepts payment in 42-coin: https://e-igrace.com/nacin-placila/. Shop now using 42-coin! 🎮🚀🎁
I just found out that the project is not foe everyone but probably it is only for Portuguese because the language used there is not the general English but a native language and what made me to visit the site was the online store foe the kids toys and I was wondering if children are are orientating to join the cryptocurrency ecosystem. And when I visit the site, this is what I saw. And since I am not from there I don't understand anything so I have to come back.

Though I don't know the particular language used.

A new wallet version has been released, 42-v0.11.2:

GitHub: https://github.com/42-coin/42/releases/tag/v0.11.2
MEGA: https://mega.nz/#F!3oMRXA6T!YG5wjjAYna8yd1K6Vk27hg

Last Update: 26-Jan-2025

I am collecting funds to pay for the development of a telegram bot that will serve as a bridge between the 42 and Solana blockchains. It will also be possible to use it as a wallet. Using the bridge in Telegram will be much easier than using the current web version. The goal is to raise $2,000 for the bridge between two networks (42 <-> SOL). Adding BSC to the bot will cost an additional $500.

Why not... seems like a good idea to try to capitalize on the old memecoin meta that is currently sweeping CryptoTwitter. Unlike any of the so-called "revivals" that have taken place in the last year, 42coin has continuous blockchain provenance from Day 1. This makes it a legit OG memecoin but it also makes it harder to pump as the coins are already well distributed. In any case, and although I'm not a fan of Solana, its where the action is and to get a tiny bit of the ecosystem's liquidity would work wonders for 42coin action.

Did you a nice writeup

https://x.com/dogermint/status/1908385837559009544

"TL;DR: 42-coin is the standard for bridging old memecoins to other chains & you should hold developers to these standards."

Probably didn't get everything 100% correct but its the best I could do  Cheesy

I am currently attempting to sync the QT wallet, for shits n giggles.

The dev at Altquick praised Laser for his help during Altquick's recent maintenance.

There's a block explorer: https://explorer.42-coin.org/

This QT works for me: https://github.com/42-coin/42/releases/download/v0.11.2/42-qt5.4.2_v0.11.2-bdb-win.zip

IndiaMikeZulu

There should be more 42-coin available on Altquick. That is, being a rare coin needn't be the same as a massive buy-sell spread and an inability to easily buy or sell solid amounts.

This month, amounts of just ten and twenty cents' worth of 42-coin were traded.

But about 750,000 sats changed hands yesterday, and with a much reduced buy-sell spread. Let's see how this goes.

One: 42-coin currently has top trading volume on Altquick.com. And there is at least one other trader there with big amounts of 42.

Two: Finexbox seems not to exist -- anyone got info on this?

Three: XBTS has a 42-coin listing. I traded there years ago. No volume at present.

Four: We don't seem to have a Reddit thread.

Five: Does anyone follow 42 on Telegram?

Six: A serious P2P project should be our mid-term goal: swap large amounts of 42 without sending our market wonky.

Edit: there's a half-million sats of 42 for sale at 0.4. (Someone pulled the 600k sell-order.) We need volume and a tigher buy-sell spread.

Ah! Thanks for that, Laser.

It's annoying. We now have fake volume for 42-coin<>BTC and 42-coin<>USDT! The claim of $3,315 USDT volume is absurd.

Luckily, neither Coinmarketcap nor Coingecko nor Coinpaprika have us listed; but Coinlore has us with only Finexbox. Today's apparent volume there is $5,542!

Just sent Coinlore an email. Let's see if they reply.

Here, tucked away in a far-flung corner of Bitcointalk, is the nitty gritty on rare cryptos:

the error of the communities was to discourage trading on the principle that the rarity gave ‘automatic’ value to the crypto. The units of the coin just had to be kept in ‘vaults.’

Unfortunately, this happened at the time when trading-volume was beginning to be seen as a centrally important metric. (This is a super simplistic insight. sigh)

Most of those coins just died: 21 Coin, CGB/CBX, Bitbar, LiteBar, Onecoin. But 42-coin has survived. It has a long-timer dev, wallets, a listing on a libertarian CEX and on two DEXes.

But a month ago, its daily trading figures on Altquick were literally one- and two-cent trades – 20 and 30 sats a time. This is dysfunction.

Meanwhile, how many sats of 42-coin are still in play??
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/42/#!rich

Nearly 40% of 42-coin hasn’t moved in years! And the amounts in sell-bids on the ‘top side’ of our pair on Altquick are tiny – miniscule. (I don’t know how much is on the two DEXs. Probably likewise not much.)

So our market can be expected to remain volatile: small volumes cause volatility.

Now, it’s two years since 42’s price dipped below 1.0 Bitcoin, and IMHO it will ever be solidly over that price again.

But that doesn’t matter. The price can swing 10-40% over just days. And this is what makes 42 so tradeable for hobbyists: tiny amounts of coin in play; big swings in price.

But all community members must be able to buy and sell good-sized amounts of coin. This is a prerequisite of a currency. Our task then is to find middle ground. Our rarity causes volatility, but there must be larger amounts in the buy- and sell-bids, so all comers can buy and sell 42-coin.

Well, our market is way down on Altquick.

Right now, the buy-sell spread is 0.10<>0.20. Let's see if we can get some trading-volume at this price.

The nobox stats -- 'Finexbox' -- are just wrong. And let's watch the 42-coin-BSC price.

Edit: buy-sell spread on Altquick right now is 0.10000006<>0.10000009. Price on Altquick is a quarter of that elsewhere -- but no volume.

And it's hard to dodge this arithmetic: 42's price is a few cents away, on Altquick, from dropping to 0.06. If we assume that only, say, 10% of all 42-coin is 'in play,' then at that price the whole currency would be worth under $10k. Watch this space!

Our price on Altquick is down by 75% -- 0.10000022-0.10000018 -- and volumes are tiny; but we do have both buys and sells happening.

And will we be P2P-ing 42-coin for QRL? Let’s see.

Here is our block explorer: https://explorer.42-coin.org/  One of the top wallets -- 1.59 42-coin -- is listed as the bridge wallet. That's good. It means that that coin is in play, not lost.

Two block explorers! https://chainz.cryptoid.info/42/# -- Australians are major holders of 42-coin -- ??!!

PS: the buy-orders show about $55 worth of orders before we 'drop into the abyss' -- let's say that's any price under 0.10000000. Likewise sell-orders on the 'top side.' Let's plug away at this.

Still far too little volume!

But I have raised my buy-bid from 0.1 to 0.35, and will sneak it a little higher in coming days. It would be great to see any 42-coin-holders on Altquick to buy or sell some coin.

Today's price should be 0.41.

0.35000000   0.00018892   0.00006612
0.06000012   0.00833332   0.00056612

My bid is 0.35. There is no solid bid under me. It's 'the abyss.'

Edit Tiny tiny bit of Altquick volume, which helps to figure out the Altquick spread. Still no solid buy-orders under 0.37.
