Honestly, I've read the optimistic side of bitcoin and everything sounds great. If are not going to think that there are negative effect on this, how I wish this would happen the soonest time possible. But let us not forget that every pro, there is a corresponding con. Let us also think that if bitcoin will be legalized, the government will take control of it and the sovereign right of users will be gone. Taxes for sure will be added as well and worst, they might limit the bitcoins you may hold.

In addition, you will be protected by the law every time there is involvement like your bitcoin was stolen or you was victimized by a scam investment in other words, the government now have the full responsilbility and obligation to protect all people who are involved in bitcoin transactions.

Indeed. That was literally a hard guess to predict what will exactly happen if Bitcoin will become a legal currency in a world wide range. But right now, as I can see that many participating countries are already recognizing Bitcoin's existence, and already make it legal to these countries, I am seeing that they are adopting to use it but still they rely and be dependent to banks for their virtual money exchanges. What you have said can also do happen if Bitcoin will totally be a legal currency worldwide.

It is already legal in some countries and they can use bitcoin as their payment. So your question is that, what would happen if bitcoin will become a legal currency? We all know that bitcoin is digital currency, so meaning when it is become legal, the transactions of every business are became convinient and less hassle. Also, if bitcoin would be a currency renowned by law, then it needs to have a governing body or some kind of authority to regulate the said currency, which I think defeats the purpose of decentralization.
