Ok good to see this thread is still alive - there is hope after all.

I see blocks generated every day in the block explorer so I know the network is definitely alive and active:

My wallet stopped staking and shows 0 connections.. it was fine a month or 2 ago. need some help.

Are there any nodes to add?

Is anyone running XVC wallet and staking?

What can be done to get it to connect?

I still do not know why John connor did not release the zeroledger if he would leave the coin to the community, if he was not going to develop the vcash because he did not release the zeroledger codes? this is an unanswered question

Before Vcash  be permanently removed from poloniex

I was trying to find devs to work on the core of the coin

in that period the whphhg dev of the wallet vcash-electron was also because it felt used by the scammers RedGarla and because it was not liking the games of the XcoreDev


The only developers that I found to be able to work with the vcash code were already in other projects and while they did not finish their work they could not dedicate themselves to the vcash code (but they will still look at the vcash code ) but we would need funds to pay them


we were able to list vcash in exchange zapple.com after we left poloniex (we finally got rid of poloniex)


we do not know if exchange zapple will keep vcash there for a long time, at least we know that one of the founders of this exchange knew and liked vcash even made some contributions to its code


we are currently trying to start a mining pool and a new block explorer, as we do not know if xcoredev will continue to maintain the site vcash.info

Our community site is vanilla.cash and our forum is vcash.community

Anyone who wants to join us is taking in all the lost in the last 2 years.

Few people understood John.

Creating something as visionary as this was, is not an easy task, and the code/tech behind it is as complex as the coder himself. Very few people actually allowed the creativity to flourish, and in the end, John himself was self destructive, as most on his level are when much opposition to himself becomes prominent and overbearing. As a coder, he seems to be brilliant. As a socialite, he is a miserable failure.

If we had him any other way, XVC would not be the level it was, and still is today, and John would not be the level of capacity he still is, where ever he is now.

We would have him join us in an instant if he were around and still functioning as a coder, and he would be the one running all the experimental code he wanted with our resources attributed to what he required to get it all running.

Yup - not many people understand John, and in Crypto these days unfortunately, not many people care either. Not for him, the code, or anything that is for the betterment of Crypto itself, unless it benefits their pocket.

We are doing just that ...

The plan is done, the setup is active, now we need to organize the core developers to start.
