The salary in bitcoins is a good thing for those who also trade with them for the rest of us I'm not sure if it's a great idea.
Because bitcoin only effective to use for online activities but it's not effective to use in real life or our environmental. Our community is unfamiliar with BTC. I'm not interested in receiving all of my salary in BTC form.
I do not want my salary in Bitcoins and I also do not think that it is going to be possible. If they want to make it possible then the government also have to be involved because of the salary and most people do not want that.

Perhaps you should negotiate for a fix amount of fiat and receive BTC based on the exchange rate at the moment? For example, if your salary is $700, you will receive 1 BTC. If the bitcoin price drop to $350, you will get 2 BTC... but if the price shoots up to $1400, you will only get 0.5 BTC...

Well, thats pretty fair. I think if a company start giving salary in bitcoin thay will also do like this only if their work are fiat bases. like if the campany is usually  a fiat company but just paying salary in bitcoin then this method would be good.

but if the company would be 100% bitcoin related. just like a mining company. then you can't negotiate and have to receive your fixed bitcoin salary.
Receiving salary in bitcoin is just great to be true.

Yeah, A lot of people will have this same thing with you. Because some people feel it's more complicated to get their paid in BTC form and need to exchange it before using their salary.

that is the problem with paid in bitcoin. What if it suddenly fall then I will have nothing else? Where would I get my next income for the next month. So I better stay in fiat with that case

If everything around you could be bought by bitcoin, then you don't need to exchange it into fiat.

If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC?

Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment. Smiley I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.
no and wouldn't, because bitcoin price is unstable and i don't like to exchange it first when i need some money
I think I would agree if my boss gives little tips a few percent when it accepts salary in bitcoin.
certainly payroll with actual bitcoin price. and when we get a salary of bitcoin you can directly convert it to a fiat? is currently converting to fiat is very easy you know ?

It's depend on the situation though. If the price of bitcoin keep increase like today, yes i like to received my salary in bitcoin, but not for long term. Only for short term and when the bitcoin's price goes down i won't in bitcoin.

Definitely. I wouldn't mind at all if I received my salary in bitcoin, especially if the salary was fixed in bitcoin rather than based on the USD values. I use bitcoin as a unit of account already.

If a lot of people accept their salary in BTC, then there will be a huge boom in bitcoin's price as well.

The point of receiving your payroll with bitcoin is not to exchange it directly into fiat. If you convert it directly then to be honest there is no point in receiving it in bitcoin at the first place however the good point of that is it can actually get someone to know that bitcoin , a virtual currency do exist

Thats a good idea but i prefer to get my salary in fiat. as we all know, bitcoin is flactuating so the value is not stable. i just want to make sure to get my money in exact amount no more no less.

You will ofcourse get the same amount of your payroll either in fiat or bitcoin. The value of the amount will still based on fiat so even if bitcoin's price decreased or increased, the amount that you will be getting is still the same. What makes it different will be either you will exchange it directly or hold it until the price changed

I'd take half of it in bitcoin, or just the part that I'm going to save (Yes, I believe the price will only increase in the long run). It's hard to use bitcoin offline (shopping etc..) At least in my area.
