It's been over 30 minutes but my chesscoin withdrawal from cryptopia is still pending, this is the first time it happen I made 3 chesscoin and other coin withdrawal and they all arrive just a few minutes I don't know if it is cryptopia's system I will update once my chesscoin arrive in my wallet.

I experienced this also with cryptopia, I think it took like 1-2h, iirc

* was not so happy, considering it was my first time :-(

I guess it comes down to security/gain interest (exchange side) vs customer satisfaction (us)

Finally received my chesscoin I'm glad that it finally came I'm looking to buy more from Cryptopia where the price is quite ok with me and security is ok I'm planning to be part of building this community again once Isolani response to my message.

Wow the dev fail to deliver this kind of feature I'm glad one of the supporters did its time to buy chesscoin now if the supporters can keep up and launch more application we will have a good community and an increase of price as well, I've downloaded the wallet and now tried to sync it now.

Thanks for the updated nodes.  I've been trading this coin over a year and staking many other coins but haven't been able to synch this wallet with the little I've tried to.  I want to do it now.  I copied the new conf file and will let the wallet run but it's saying 0 active connections.

Why is it good to have a checkpoint ?
* at least until the checkpoint time the blockchain can not be manipulated anymore
* the syncing speed for new users will be better

It looks great what you're doing.  Do you have some history on github or other ways to know your history in case you want to post the binary you've compiled?  I've compiled in C++ but just using the Borland compiler and not sure what the process is to recompile this code.   We haven't had a coder in this thread for about 8 months.

Yes, have had that and it's been on three hours now with no active connections.   Remember, we have to keep the wallets open to keep the blockchain moving. 

I'm sorry that you can not get in touch with the network - try checking your firewall settings? If you want we can open a channel on Slack? Are there any more users with network problems? Send me an email for an invitation to Slack...

I downloaded chesscoin wallet and it seems it will take me a week before I fully sync the wallet, a friend recommended this because of the high staking rewards I hope it's profitable now that chesscoin is still cheap I have 5 active connections sometimes it even goes to 7

When the tournament is creatable (about 1h before it starts), also other non-ChessCoin people can join the tournament

I want to state again my initial thoughts:

We need this:
* 1. clear statement by the current dev
* 2. if he makes none, we need a poll (e.g. that we can show that we have >50% of the network balance on our side)

because otherwise if I'd be an exchange I'd decline the new version for obvious reasons:
* a newcomer could just claim his version is better

Let's not forget, a fork of code can always be made...
but the exchanges need a strong reason why they should also install the new version
* there is strong support by the stakeholders
* and reasons/facts about the current dev side

My assumption is that this process might take some while (2-3 months?)
