The ICO looks to be getting a respectable amount of interest.  Sorry if this has been asked and I missed it.  Is there a minimum target amount of btc needed to proceed with the project?  How much is needed to finance Nicolas Dorier to work on this project.  And is there a time frame for for when this work will be completed or is it open ended?  I take it that nothing has been started yet at this time and that the ICO is needed to fund development.  I'm trying to understand when any work towards this project will likely start and when we could expect a release of any kind.  Not an exact date but at least some kind of timetable would be nice.  If enough isn't raised for Nicolas Dorier to perform the work is there a backup plan to enlist other developers?

Hey, just to confirm it here, I will work on Stratis Bitcoin full node implementation if Stratis manage to raise enough for financing my work.
This will be a bitcoin full node, based on NBitcoin. Easier to debug, compile, and change on your own.

There is not official minimum amount. However, no less than 1000 BTC would be required to develop this platform and to build our sales, business development and marketing team. This is the minimum amount required to have the capabilities required to make this project a success. In the unlikely scenario that we did not exceed this amount, we would refund all investors. I am confident that we will exceed this amount.

The end to end platform will be complete in November. Correct, Nicolas is ready to start working asap. I guess it would be easier if we was just cloning someone else's code.

We will release a beta wallet based on Bitcoin Core, within two weeks after the ICO closes. This will allow people to withdraw their Stratis tokens from the ICO platform and hold them in wallet, removing the need to trust anyone with your tokens. This wallet will not include our private chain tech, which will be available in our Full Node framework, when its released.

I dont see it as an option to utilize other developers to complete Nicolas's work, you only have to Google Nicolas to see that hes a top blockchain developer. I would not have the neccesary trust in anyone elses ability outside of Bitcoin Core development to complete this delivery. I dont think it has registered for some, but outside of Ethereum, I dont see any other projects with such talent on the team.

I want to say that even though I think that this crowdsale (and seemingly most crowdsales) launch pretty fast. It sounds promising. I have been trying to get as much information as I can before putting into something I never heard of until yesterday (learned that lesson with the DAO). I'm thinking if I miss the 20% bonus I'll wait and watch the coin for a while. So if there's still time left, I'll do it but only because it meets a need for something I've been looking for...so willing to take a small bet on it.

I have been looking for a C# platform for a while and Stratis offers to deliver everything plus more that I was lamenting about with platforms not offering C# only javascript (a language I dislike working with significantly) in the days before I fell upon this one (a day or two ago now).

It would be nice to see another crowdsale after people have had time to actually get to know and read up on it some more. Probably won't happen since you'll meet your development goals and a crowdsale wouldn't benefit you a second time, but it's what ev, all cool. I like it anyway. Looks promising!

That was my same question too, it didn't get answered probably because the original question was missed in my list of questions. But when will the coin be launched. I'm assuming it will be in November or after November when the end to end platform comes out, but would love to hear specifics.

My preference is that it is not launched immediately after the ICO personally as I think I would start to get suspicious considering that this coin was just announced, is being crowd-saled, and if it were to be be launched shortly after I'd start to loft another brow. I've barely had enough time to research everything as it is...so would definitely like to see some thought go into launch and some time given for people to actually read about what they're putting into, instead of this 'limited time offer grab now or miss out'. I'm still not sure for sure if this is a scam or not, but I'm willing to take a small risk and explore it, but not willing to take a big risk.

The Stratis ICO will take place over the course of 36 days, beginning at 17.00 EST on 20th June 2016 and ending at 17.00 EST on 25th July 2016.
Following the ICO, we will deliver a Stratis beta wallet based on Bitcoin Core. This will allow investors to hold and secure their own coins, while also allowing exchanges to list Stratis. Our priority is to deliver the Stratis C# Full Node development framework, while also developing our side chain technology and the blockchain-as-a-service platform in parralel. Ok, I see the confusion from the text snippet.

The Stratis mainnet will be released shortly after the ICO. This will be running on a beta version of our Bitcoin Core based Stratis full node. We will not only have our Stratis C# Full node framework Stratis will also have a Bitcoin Core derived full node with all the Stratis functionality available (In November/December).

This allows everyone to receive their coins and secure them. The trading markets to begin and for some re-distribution to take place.

We hope that in some regards Stratis will become the dev chain for Bitcoin and the latest and greatest tech developed for Stratis will be implemented into Bitcoin. For this we must not derive from Bitcoin to much and also try to keep things like the block structure the same. By releasing this beta we will be able to show a documented and proven path for Bitcoin to implement any of the tech developed by Stratis. This will give Stratis huge significance in the blockchain space. Im not aware of any other ICO funded blockchain startup that is adding real value to bitcoin, we are developing a Blockchain Development platform that will fully support Bitcoin. Pretty cool if your ask me.

I find this very promising. My twitter account is under 30 days old so I have to wait a few days until it reaches 30. I'll be participating in getting Stratis Tokens via helping in marketing (tweeting etc.)...I made the choice to invest my funds away from crowdsales and into established/existing coins, but I'd like to take part in helping get the word out about Stratis so that people are more aware about it's existence. Once Twitter becomes available to me I'll do that. Not going to spam people about it, but will help spread the word.

I have it always open on my desktop and I refresh every few minutes..I am earning around 60-12 Stratis daily but the more peeps join maybe I will get less to do but still, this is a wonderful amount. I also want to get Blitzcash but my btc is all tied up in bagholding so I will ahve to click a lot of faucets to try and accumulate more btc to buy those as well.
