if you look at these coins next 2 years in my opinion

BTC = 5x max
ETH = 10x max
DASH = 25x max
ZCASH = 15x max
Stratis = 100x easily

so why would i look to invest in anything else short or long term ?

lol I don't disagree on potential...but there are many a slip between the cup and lip. I'll diversify a little...but yeah I'm keeping my stratis and adding.

The nice thing about cryptocurrency is, anything can happen.  I'm pretty sure many people never imagined Ethereum to be at the price it is today.  Stratis is still a baby and has plenty of room for growth.

do stratis wallets have private keys?  i've backed up my .dat file, but wondering if i can also find my private key for safekeeping.  cant seem to find it in the QT software

Your wallet.dat file contains your private keys.  Just save that by going under "File" then select "Backup Wallet" and save the file.  You're good to go.

Hello guys...Hope u all doing great...few months back i bought around 9000 STRATIS coins and  sold them at 40 percent profit.But now i realized that Startis is more than any other coin.Now i am again thinking to put 2 or may be 3 bitcoins in it .Do you think  Stratis is good as long term investment?.Right now the price is running between 2 to 3 dollars .So what price  potential we can predict if Startis  reach in top 5 coins ??

Give me 1btc and i will tell you the answer.

Hello Pankaj180, I myself Believe that Stratis will soon get rampant into top 10 and wont ever go back. As you said, Stratis isnt jsut anoyher coin, it has value, use cases and one of the best teams behind it.
It is under 3$ now after this huge correction, dont see a better time to buy it other than now, as tech is beign released next month and will make the price at least double (we hope), very possible anyway for at least a x3-4 this year.

Yes you can use the command "dumpprivkey <address>"  in the debug console, but a backup of your wallet.dat file is the best way to go.
If you really want to do it for all your addresses u should enable coin control in options and see which addresses have a Stratis balance on them and save all of those private keys, but I advise against this.
Everytime you send coins the change will be send to a new address of which you'd have to back up the private key as well.

Long story short: encrypt your wallet.dat file and back it up on multiple storage devices.

Thanks to the STRATIS 45 BTC SELL WALL Whale I managed to make myself another 20 STRAT on the dip so trying t trade and accumulate it slowly slowly. I hope I can get to 1k STRAT holding before it reaches 5 USD a pop and just hold long term and forget about it.

Yes, please! I already made a coin request at kraken. I think now is a good time because STRATIS is now on #11 on Marketcaplist.
Kraken has many coins which have smaller Marketcap than Stratis like ZEC, XMR, MLN, REP, GNO, ICN.
Although they seem to favour Ethereumtokens they offer also Dash, Monero, Zcash, Litecoin and Ripple.

So I suggest every one who has a kraken account to suggest to list Stratis. It's about time.

Just waiting for the best time to do it (after tech is released)

Just bought some, doesnt sound expensive as it is #11 at this moment and not even 1 Billion market cap taking in account the tech being released soon.
Been reading and seems like it can really go very high.
