Why stake reward is little? half of ark  Huh
IMHO they thought they were smart giving very little stake reward and inflation.
However, moderate inflation is actually a neutral effect in proof of stake systems, since all stakers/investors get the coins and nobody is diluted. Even more, if staking reward is significant enough, it actively encourages holding and the best holders's stakes are increasing, so people who don't dump become more and more prevalent. With 1% annualy, the holding reward is way too insignificant for most to seriously consider. I think the sweet spot is around 4-10% as is shown by the most successful POS coins.

I think the Masternodes (big and small) will bring some meat on the table with regard to that.

I use stake

Rise % is good
Okcash % is good
Ark % is medium
Stratis % is poor

Has there been any news related to the smaller amounts of tokens that can be staked for rewards? I thought I remember hearing there would be "mini nodes" with like 10k, 50k, 150k underneath the 250k masternode?
You can stake as many coins as today as you'd like. Stratis is proof of stake as of today. Masternodes is separate rewards.

"You can use Stratis’ Breeze Wallet as a secure Bitcoin and Stratis wallet, from which you can send your Bitcoin through a tumbler, even if you don’t run a masternode (more tokens supported soon in the Breeze Wallet)"

"Coming soon, you’ll be able to invest money in ICOs (again, check with legal counsel) in a more secure way, using Tumblebit™. Stratis is soon to launch an ICO platform that allows companies to create and promote their ICOs and accept tumbled Bitcoin (possibly tumbled Ethereum soon)."

Wow that's a good step forward for stratis, thanks for sharing the article! Allthough I firmly believe Stratis will be one of the top 10 coins in 2018, ICO's will either mostly disappear, or they're going to have to change up their formula. Too many times has a coin dropped in value after listing, leaving the ico participants kind off robbed.

I agree about the price increasing with all the upcoming news until the end of this year. But what fucking whales are you talking about? They are not the reason why the price of Stratis is stagnating at the moment. The main reason for that is that there are a lot of other coins that receive more attention than Stratis and have a lot of hype around them. Also, Stratis has lost the confidence of some investors with not meeting deadlines and having a bad communication.

We have 4 major releases until the end of this year if I am not wrong (Breeze, Masternodes, Sidechains, ICO Platform) and a conference on top of that. I think that should be enough for Stratis to increase to at least 80 000 sat. However you can never know with the crypto market, Bitcoin can skyrocket with the upcoming futures launch and that can have a negative impact on the rest of the altcoins.

Oh, WOW that's heavy! I just realized how heavily STRAT was dumped down to $3.35...  I'm so glad I sold all my Strat at about $9.5.

I could basically triple my stash right now.

You don't check the price for months I think, the price went down to 3 usd for a long time.

That's right, I pretty much disregard the prices of coins like STRAT that I have for the long term. This way it's most exciting to me

I always check the amount in Bitcoin worth only

Looks like you're in luck then.  Are you going to pull the trigger and triple up your Stratis stack?  or just sit around and watch Stratis rise past the price you sold it for?  Talk is cheap, actions speak louder than words.   Wink

I think dash is great and will overtake bitcoin. However what so you think of pivx? obviously dash has the pole position advantage but I've transferred pivx and it was much faster than dash. is that just because so few people use it? Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

Good move on your end.  Stratis in the 3 dollar range won't last much longer.  STRAT are very undervalued.  Once the releases are out on mainnet, Stratis will be shooting for the stars.  Buy and stake.  Smiley

Would be interesting to see how many masternodes at 250k STRAT would be deployed.

Stratis is although a good project but the price of it has never been stable, It maxed out at 10$ and since it has been going down, Touched on the bottom $2 and then 5 and then 2 and 3. Considering the project yes it has been way under valued, Other projects beat this project not because they were pump/dump but because they have been consistent, Stratis is slow and their marketing is not that good which is why they are staying at low price till they market their project.
