I don't think people will gamble for fun. Almost all of them gamble for profit. Gambling is risky. You can't win everyday.

Don't generalize the statement based on what you like because since the day one I always gamble only for fun particularly while watching my favourite cricket team match I will bet a small amount to enjoy the game with more excitement. That's why even after few years of gambling I didn't lose money in gambling because I made some profit from cricket betting but lost some money in dice game but if I'm not wrong overall I'm still in profit may be less than 2 BTC. |

Just fun. To rely too heavily on profit makes it less fun and destroys the point of playing g. You must play for fun and winning is just a hope we have and how long we hold in to that hope. But never make it so you rely on that hope. Don't spend what you need then force yourself to rely on a big win to survive.
Why are you using real money if you are gambling for fun? That is what fortunejack offers to some other people who are looking to just have fun and not gamble at all. They have playmoney so people may enjoy their games with this instead of real cash But as far as I know gamblers, they never play just for fun. Everyone who gambles have a mind of making some good money in this game. If the sole purpose of gambling is fun, then there are many other ways of having fun such as going for outdoor games, vacations, camping with friends etc. all these activities are healthier and you seek more fun with such activities than just gambling. |

In theory, I am gambling of course wanting to win. However, like most gamblers. I became complacent by increasing amount bets after had won some. Which then turns into like a blind pig spends money easily.

Gambling is all about the profit that is why i don't understand those that justify their gambling losses as having fun. The house is there to make profit from your pocket and so i don't see why you should be there for another reason. Some people actually have fun when they gamble man, no need to be so harsh. Some people really don't care too much about money you know, and as such they can lose a few hundred $ and then be done with it and call it a good night. I've been there, done that without a thought of making profits. This is mainly when you go to a physical casino though, not online.. |

It is not gambling if you don't play it for money, but as you said sometimes you are "gambling" for fun without money does it mean when you are using money you are gambling to win money? To take money out of your friends pocket? I agree since I think some people gamble for different reasons and making profit is not actually the priority unless there is an urgency need of fund where gambling is the only way they think can solve and help them in this matter. Everyone of us why we join in bitcoin is for profit like in gambling many people that is why they take a risk to play gamble to earn money to be profitable at their next step.It should be their choice if they want have some fun no care to looses their money or not.But for me i choose to gamble making a profit money and someday would be invested on it for future purposes. |

I am not a billionare nor a millionare, people like me gamble in a hope to gain profit. Some may gamble for fun but ends up being broke which is not fun at all. We all join bitcoin to atleast earn some bucks. It is always fun making some money but you should know when to quit.

In my point of view, gambling must only be done for fun. A person can't rely for profit in terms of gambling because it means his/her profit is based on luck only. The worst case scenario would be losing all his/her money which is possible in gambling.

Personally Gambling really is not that fun. Mostly stupid little games at a casinoe. If you are sports betting or gambling on horse racing - it only makes you want to cheer your favorite on to victory. The point with gambling is that it does give you some sort of adrenelin rush when you win etc. For me especially at casinoe - after I loose $15 - $20, I am ready to leave. Last time I was in a casinoe I actually won $13 on the night. I was glad to stop playing so I could go home a winner - went home with more money than what I went in with - which is rather rare.

true but some people do not feel bad after they broke from gambling because they do gambling for fun. agreed we all join bitcoin to earn money but people use it as a tool. its the best choice to stop gambling at the beginning because the regrets are in the end. |
