So there was another Ethereum hard fork lately?

http://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-forks-again-so-far-so-good/
Are you asking a question? Because the answer appears to be in the link you directly posted.

Yes I was asking a question, I don't always believe what I read  Wink
Plus I didn't see any thread about it around here.
I put it to you that you knew full well that ETH forked successfully and are attempting a rather weak troll shitpost.

PS. Gud to see the Spoetniktard back and on usual troll form.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Every time someone says ETH is dead and suddenly we see the price goes back to $12 or more, looks like the market doesn't care much about these kind of fuds.

It's the same as Bitcoin. It's been dead over 100 times now. Someone should count up how many times ETH has been announced dead.

Warning: constant hard forks might cause severe paranoia  Grin

How do you define constant? You are aware that all gud software is updated and patched on a regular basis? If you don't want a supported Ethereum Coin then knock yourself out and fill you bag with the ETC Criminal Coin shitcoinage.

I think more to hold bitcoin because I have never seen Satoshi that are not visible and distinct unlike ETH developer Smiley

I was just poking fun as you seem quite on the edge. I don't really care if Ethereum forks everyday, I was just asking a question. But your reaction indicates that Ethereum supporters are starting to lose faith  Undecided
Not on edge just tired of the same old ETH troll shitpostage. I'm glad you like ETH as here's more big business news jumping on the ETH gud times: http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/deloitte-becomes-third-gold-sponsor-ethercamp-hackathon-1593105

Ok well, lets see how well the adoption rate (as a currency) has been going for ETH.
Oh.. not so good huh ?

Alrighty then lets see how well it's been doing as an APP's platform..
Ohhh cringe worthy.. not so good.

Ok well lets see how well it's been doing for dem profitz on centralized exchanges.
Uh oh, we got a problem  Cheesy

[D]enial.
That is what is going on here.

Reality check time Profiteers..
It's too late.
All you have talked about for one whole entire year on every topic is..
Profits & Prices and even that has died off.. AS I PREDICTED.

It's not a currency as the supporters kept mouthing me off saying way back.
It was never intended to be one and will never be adopted as one.
For a variety of reasons ..most importantly because of the technical break down "Roach" posted many times.
It by design can never replace Bitcoin etc.
It simply can't.

So whats left ?
The gimmick the scammy ICO tokens were tacked onto.. APP's / DAPP's / Smart Contracts (sic)
Which is a failure.
No one has ever posted one single topic or comment about the APP's
..only when they tried to feed me a list of them being made after i said above.
Because you all don't care and never did.. about the POINT to this scam coin ICO from 2014.

It is effectively dead.
The grandiose pump & dump is what lured in users and they wandered off long ago.

Calling me a Troll does not address the reality of the situation.
It does not change history or cause the coin to function in an alternate manner.
It is.. what it is.

A scammy failed ICO gimmick scam coin.. for profit.

The dev douche dumped for a small fortune and you been duped into buying his scam coins.
Want to double down with moar bag hodl'ing ? have at 'er kidiots... good luck with that.

As Fraudcache said about 6 or 7 months ago right after the DAO attacked / hack..
Ethereum the scam coin will be worth $100 per coin in 12 months.
So soon enough you will all be rich beyond your wildest dreams.. just take the word from a confirmed community voted fraud here and invest everything you got in the ICO scam coin "APPS" gimmick NOW !
Mortgage your house sell the shirt on your back.. hell sell your daughters virginity !
Just buy dem coinz now !!!

PS:
Microsoft / Big Banks and IBM are "Using" Ethereum.
Yup.. so you all better buy moar cheap coinz nom nom nom..

PPS:
Here is a shocker for ya all.. as much as i hate Monero etc.
At least they tried to target what they felt was a need.. a currency with anon features.
They did not sit there and think of alternative use cases for an ICO scam coin gimmick.
One was intended to be a currency and the other is not.

One was why i came to crypto in the first place.

What we need to look at is,
what can you actually do with ETH at this point?
Its traded on exchanges, its even got integration on platforms like Coinbase, which was a huge deal, being able to convert back and forth to fiat.
There are apps like Augur in the works that are built on the ETH platform.

But what do you actually do with ETH? Can you pay for any goods/ services with it?
Since the answer seems to be no, comes the next question.
Is ETH actually worth almost $10?

Yeah you did say it.. no i couldn't recall when exactly.
Yes you side stepped addressing the countless claims YOU have made.
I will be holding you to them all Mr. "Big Banks are buying shitloads of Ethereum"

And Coinbase is scum.. i wouldn't go near that place.

Ya forks are the norm now.. no one even pays attention.. it's rebranded to "Fork Coin"

Me, i still call it an ICO scam.. no matter how much your fucking douche bags brag about yur ROI'z.

Just because some fucking scammy ass bullshit gets popular 100% because of a shady pump & dump and you all profit off it does not make the shitty ass faggy scam coin legit.

PS:

Minecache is a fucking Fraud (as voted by the community)
So scam coin aficionado ponzi-SIG fraud boy when does ETH go to $100 a coin again ? 12 months ?
And what was that bullshit about Microsoft, IBM and Big Banks ?  Grin

PPS:

Don't believe it ? Want to sign up to be a long term sad ass pathetic loser bag-holder ?

Welcome to the semen soaked jizzcicle world of shitcoinery.

I may be very new to the scene, but I've already used ETH to pay for one service in September and October... and I requested to get paid in ETH for a service I provide (content creation). I haven't counted but I *have* seen a few merchants accepting ETH so just wanted to point that out. BTW I am not an ETH supporter, just a hobbyist/collector of crypto.

Although I am not a big fan of ethereum, I do not see the coin dying at least five years from now.
It has too huge a fan base and market volume for that to happen any time soon.

Is the Ethereum under attack again, the price has dropped to multi months low. Will there be another hard fork?

I have not read any rumors or bad news about eth recently.
That's why I suppose it's all some kind of panic reaction that happened the last hour.
And becaus of this I decided to buy a few eth half an hour ago.
The price is recovering already, so I made a little profit this way.
