Yes i do agree bitcoin and Litecoin also you can add Ripple and Dogecoin also long eexisting coin . Ether and other are famous because its ability create smart contracts with very less time and create tokens for ICO . because of this there is lots of ICO happening its also good move lets wait and watch.

I would love to see ETH further development to make even more generalized EVM with no inclination to issuing tokens and rules for exchanges between accts. It should be a separate "coin" library for it, but ETH needs to be more generic. Bad ICO's gives a bad reputation to it. It's just a tool.

Yeah, Ethereum doesn’t look like it’s going to die anytime soon though the price of Ethereum is taking some damage from the people that been holding it for a very long time. With all these ICO’s that are being built by the people that make money from previous ICO’s using Ethereum, they are trying to dump what they have so they could get their money out as fast as they can. Fiat isn’t worth it.

Every currency has its ups and downs. Even fiat money loses 50%. That doesn't make Ethereum scam. There are really big companies investing on ETH.
