Guys.. I bought a lot of NXT when the price was 5k satoshi.. Now the price dropping too much!! I thought the price will be +6k satoshi bcuz ARDR.. What the best now? Holding for long-term with ARDR or Selling...
Well I have sold most of mine already before it hit this price. The price just continues to drop, and the devs do not have any real pr. This reminds me of caix coin a few years ago. The dev just disappeard for months and the price slowly went to nothing. Most people I have asked what exactly does ardor do have no clue what it does because even the devs can not explain it in simple terms. Most people on the poloniex troll box seem to think you have to have ardor and nxt to get Ignis, but you only need nxt. So as far as whether you should sale or not is up to you if you want to wait untill next year when Ignis is about to come out and the price will rise again. Their is just no tell how much it will. Ditto. And in full agreement since I posted here I was selling my position. Now i am very slowly accumulating again bc im sure itll not bottom until below 2500, maybe significantly below that. But, as I have posted many times, I above all fully agree with your bolded statement. Totally non effective PR since no one seems to be capable of explaining what the potential real use cases will be.... especially the cup of soup of words used in the link above which is supposed to explaing what ARD is and ehat child chains can do. Price movement is simple math adjusting to the real price for a coin DOUBLING its numberwithin a few weeks.

People selling it and not enough wanting to buy makes it safe?
Yes but only if you subscribe to buy low sell high tactics

In simple terms besides being the parent chain what else do you do with it?
That is it precisely in simple terms, and it is not so difficult to explain. ARDR is the main chain token. The main chain secures and validates the transactions in the whole platform. This means any blockchain within Ardor that wants its transactions to be registered so anyone within the Ardor platform will count them, needs to anchor them in the main chain, which requires paying fees in ARDR. Blocks including validation for all transactions done in all the blockchains in the Ardor platform are registered, and the corresponding fees paid, in the main chain. So ARDR is the token that can be sent to and from the main chain and all the child chains, confirming and securing all transactions and contracts made in the whole network. Your question can also be applied to other platforms, say about Ether - so, besides being the main network token, what else do you do with it?

Is there any incentive for holding NXT after Ardor release?
Besides the Ardor/IGNIS distribution snapshots that happen in the Nxt blockchain, Nxt stays on its own roadmap, and will have its own developments and announcements independently from Ardor, hence its own incentives. Of course the question is "Should I sell my NXT or not?" and the only possible answer is "It depends on your timing, on what you invested and what you expect to get from it", since market valuation cannot be logically predicted. If the question was "Are the Ardor snapshots the last valuable thing to happen in Nxt?" I'd answer that absolutely not. There will be developments and news in the upcoming months.

I know I fully trust the sources that told me that some new developments are in the pipeline for Nxt, and just to prove that I'm not just pulling off baseless hype I'll post a link to this comment after those news are published.

Well people are trying to sale nxt and get profit while getting ardor for free. So right now its a game of chicken how long will you hold before the price goes down even more. Will it go back up? Yes but not until next year when Ignis is about to come out, but that is just my opinion.

Nxt Coinshuffle Infographic! This is the first infographic made by Savandra. Use it where you can, please! More details. I mean how do I get the Bitcoins into the shuffling service? I mean, lets say I have the NXT wallet, can't send Bitcoins with it.
