Im holding it until the halving happens. BTC shot up due to the Chinese influence and the halving effect is not yet there. Its much certain that price will rocket sky high with halving and also the Britain's possible exit from EU. Hold on to BTC guys until halving..

hard to be a "bagholder" when your basis cost is negative

lol, suckers

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Yup the BTC price is in full collapse right now. It's a crippled coin with a fractured community so hardly surprising really. Investors know there are better cryptos out there.

Another failed FUD attempt. Besides, you have to own Bitcoin first in order to be able to "dump fast".

Yup the BTC price is in full collapse right now. It's a crippled coin with a fractured community so hardly surprising really. Investors know there are better cryptos out there.
What a load of bullshit. "Better cryptos", like what? Centralized, non-censorship resistant blockchains like ETH? Seems like someone is really hurt about not buying Bitcoin in time. Roll Eyes

Speculation will it hold ~$450 or go lower?
It is holding $660 which is surprising because it is still $200 up from May.

As I believe the bitcoin price will rise a lot if it is developed properly, I will hold most bitcoin and promote it.
I don't see an (decentralized) altcoin that has a comparable team of developers.

I cashed out 20% at 750 won't cash out any more until $1200 now. I think it will eventually go way higher, but you have to take some profits now and then. I never had many BTC anyway but do try to accumulated more as I go.

LTC I think will have a big year 2016 or 2017

Doge is the only other one I think could also take off but less so than LTC

I like the old POW coins.

BTC is Now Less than $ 580.00
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

Many are starting to sell , time is running out before we get down to the $450 mark.
(Only real question , is will it find support there or keep heading down.)

From the looks of it, the price is going in a downward direction. Bitcoin price might already have been reached its peak long before the halving happens.

Cashed out on the 14th @ ~650

Quote
What do you guys think BTC will pop at? I'm thinking if this isn't close then it may peak 850 but I don't think it's going much higher. But I really have no clue on btc movements. I'm going to cash out and wait for it to drop to rebuy, I figure about a month but who knows?

Bought in during the recent dip for ~.05 BTC, finally reaching my 1st goal of 1 BTC  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Now to begin working on my second goal - turning that 1 BTC into 2 BTC  Wink  Any advice on how to best attain this?  Getting just one bitcoin took me forever - lots of trading rather than flat out buying.  So doubling my bitcoin isn't something I want to take extreme risks over.

If you want to play it safe, lending your BTC on Poloniex for margin trading is pretty safe. The return is low, however. I wouldn't recommend putting all of your BTC on Poloniex though. Having all off your BTC on an exchange is never a smart idea. You can also learn how to do arbitration trading.

Markets look like someone cashed out a lot of LTC trying to stabilize BTC , but the attempt failed as BTC continues on it's downward trek.

I think its going to bounce at least once to try and go for the double top.
I think I'll sell a bunch when we get close to that again.

With folks pointing out how the ETH scandal is putting a spotlight on the Nash equilibrium vulnerability and seriously damaging all cryptocurrencies in the eyes of the "outside world", the long term uptrend could be in serious trouble. From a technical analysis standpoint, the crash to 550 is strong confirmation that it will take time, a lot of time, for price to restructure, that is if it ever does (unless this is another case of super crypto volatility and new highs are seen before the end of the month . . . which, with weak hands in panic sell mode at lows, is a possibility, albeit remote). This is not a question of if but when. There are plenty of other issues that threaten BTC's long term viability that will also attract the spotlight in the coming days, weeks, and months.

Personally I think a double top is optimistic and would be looking for a 61.8 retrace to sell into (with LTC as well), and then go away until early next year . . . if there is still a market in crypto then, of course.
