You morons gave 30,000 free BTC to a bunch of Russian IPO scammers.  No wonder BTC is down.  You probably all own more BTC than altcoins and just devalued the fuck out of your investment by letting these scammers crash the market in a rush to buy Lamborghinis for themselves.

That's probably what we were looking at on BTCE today.  The price was over $600, yet you have people trying to unload BTC $50 under market value for absolutely no reason on BTCE.  You got these Waves Russians, Vitalik Russian, and Come from Beyond Russian IPO scammers tripping over themselves desperate to cash out their scams as fast as possible on BTCE

You have a serious problem with Russians. You should try to see a psychologist. That probably come from beyond a problem that you had during childhood.

If you need help the whole Bitcoin community will be there for you, and i'm sure the russian part of it will help you even more.

Too much Rocky IV.

According to escrow agreement the funds have to be transferred from the escrow address.
https://blockchain.info/address/35fe2CM2zbMeSfhRjpjW8ikTJcZj8NooFD official Waves cold wallet
5 k is withdrawn for current and upcoming development and marketing costs, good moment to sell BTC. 1 k out of it is spent on WAVES buy-back.

Good, thanks for the transparency.  Smiley

Why not just unload all of your IPO scam profits onto this guy instead of trying to crash the BTC market on purpose?  If this guy wants to buy 25,000 coins, just go ahead and sell all of yours to him since we know your goal is just to get enough fiat to buy lambos:

Sasha are you a fucking idiot?  You don't sell 5000 BTC at once unless you're trying to crash the market on purpose.

Sell your BTC over the counter to this guy who wants to buy 25,000:

Sasha would get a far better price selling OTC than through a normal exchange because of slippage. Itbit is another alternative he could use to get a far higher price for his coins than dumping them on a normal exchange. It had 19k bitcoin volume last month.

https://www.itbit.com/otc

This page shows the 19k bitcoins sold OTC through itbit last May.

According to escrow agreement the funds have to be transferred from the escrow address.

Where can we read this escrow agreement? Direct link please.

How can we be sure you are not paying back a BTC loan that was used to buy WAVES tokens from yourself during the IPO?

Sasha still hasn't answered.

Thank you sasha for the answer. Please see my logic on how ICOs can be manipulated with loans:

Please explain how you can prove you haven't taken out a loan to buy the ICO from yourself, for the following purpose:

They already distributed 9 million coins to themselves. That's plenty of coins to manipulate the market when the supply is set at 100 million, with no more to ever be created. They are also using 1K of ICO funds to buy back even more coins. Interesting how the market appears to be suppressed now. They also distributed 4 million coins to "strategical partners and backers."

i sold 15000 waves, 75% of my holdings on day 1 at about 0.00041 because waves didn't receive much of any mainstream media press - thus sellers outnumbered buyers by a wiiiiide margin. that was obvious to me and should have been to everyone else

kept 25% for a reason though

sasha coded coinomat and waves might rival motherfucking coinbase one day

it would be speculative and idiotic of them NOT to turn the ICO BTC into fiat. that would be counterproductive and bad for the business of waves. waves is a business

was it a scam? maybe, but probably not. i think sasha is a pretty leet dude with good knowledge of crypto and credit/debit payment gateways, and now he has serious capital to play with to put his brain to good use

all of you people talking shout about eastern europeans in blanket statements is fucking ridiculous. how about we all calm down and wait a few months for developments? let them work

you invested in an ico, you aren't grinding away at any new platforms - you're panicking and most of you probably put less than $500 into waves

$7M is garbage compared to what the waves team can turn this project into. they could be generating that every week a year from now. straight up cashing out and going into hiding when you can become a boss in the crypto world is fucking stupid and sasha isn't stupid. i think this is peanuts compared to what he wants to accomplish

love,
an actually successful internet entrepreneur who's been making $ on the internet since the late 90s

Given Sasha's history and the involvement of jl777 in the project, I'm inclined to say it's worth staying for the long haul.

The same question will be asked of Rise and Lisk.

Thank you for the information. I hope someone can document that, so it is a fact and not a hearsay.

I hope he also answers my question.

I am not here to play altcoin police. So I will not harp on this. Speculators should be free to do what ever they want and decide to use trust instead of trustless paradigms if they so desire.

I've asked the questions. Cheers.

The bolded part in your response is exactly what ETH/DAO is. Not to say these maniacs can't push the price much higher in the future but the con will only last so long.

The way the insiders manipulate the market with these premined tokens is explained, and note the high leverage employed which means if they run out of tokens to margin with, it is like a house-of-cards and will implode to 0 in a heartbeat:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1524111.msg15340159#msg15340159

They siphon off BTC for as long as they can and high as they can pump it, then game over and they walk away with BTC and the fools walk away with empty bags.

Also some (including the Daoattacker) allege that the USGovt + MIT (university) are complicit in the ETH pump:
