simple rule, dont trust companies that 1.) are not registred, 2.) have fake adresses and 3.) a hidden "who is". (work of 5 minutes)
why should anybody pay for privacy ? no legit site does that.
And ive sold a lot of domains in the past two years ...

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

I doubt that the HashOcean owner was even based in the US, which increases the likelihood that the FBI will do nothing.

they are not based in the US nor United Kingdom , i think they are somewhere in this planet but we don't where they are hiding maybe they are just using a fake identity when they are sending an email .

I'm starting to think all these cloudmining scams have one brain/organization backing them. Could be a syndicate?

i would also do so, but im too honest to make my money in this way.

you also do not need any "backing". Domain and host is cheap, ponzy scripts are prebuild or custom made in a few days. i guess you can start with around 500€ in BTC to make the first payouts, some marketing and SEO and boom Smiley

i also would have no idea what for what i need 5700 Stolen BTC, in my country you have no chance to get that to Cash without going to jail Cheesy and buy shit @ amazon and then still need to go 2 work is also bullshit....

you can trust sites that are run by real companys and look legit.
hashocean -> a lot of red flags and no way like a legit company
see here:

no terms of use
no imprint or real data (like links to a commercial directory)
no proof of mining
hidden domain registration that costs extra money
unrealistic payouts (why would they need your money if it is so profitable)
5% refereal programm
..... can be continued but im too lazy

Just use your brain next time.
Nobody wants to make you rich, all they want is your (hard) earned money without a lot of efford.

HashOcean is a ponzi scheme that struck more than 700 thousand members. There are several reasons for this conclusion and most of them beyond the fact of being out of breath. Doing some research you can easily realize that hashocean used data center images of Genesis-Mining as if they were her. This is pure ponzi...

If you are a US citizen you should better fill a formal complain. It will have more impact than 10'000 signatures in this kind of petition...
But don't expect any money back ...

Maybe in my opinions it's will give a little effect but will try to follow this, I'm not sure the fbi will giving help to complete this cases.
because maybe it's the owner fault or users of bitcoin fault.

You would think they would read some and research a bit before they just send funds to a random pop up site. Maybe they deserve to get scammed out of more BTC. I'm glad i only invested $13 USD and made that back at least 3 times.

no, as for me i didn't know.. friend of mine invited me there 1,5 year before and i invested there a little amount, something about 20$, and forgot about that, and one day before they scammed (june 25, 2016) i found 155$ in my wallet!! so i thought -it is amazing site! i must invest more there and i will get more!- so i did some resarch, i read a lot about hashocean, everyone wrote the best about this site and said that you can trust them! i didn't find any negative opinion about them in the internet!! so i invested there 100$ and the next day they scammed(((

This is called being unlucky you lost your profit plus $100  . If I were you I would withdraw 50% of money atleast before reinventing.
My story is also almost similar to your.
I also joined this site 4 days before but before i reach at payout limit the site hashocean had gone forever in hell .

Well, you made some profit anyway. 155-20-100=$35.  Grin

Everybody was saying that the site is amazing because it was paying and because they want referrals to earn comission.
But here on Bitcointalk many people said the risks about HashOcean. It`s the best forum to know more about everything related to Bitcoins and another crypto-currencies.

Check this addresses:

https://blockchain.info/address/35QnbKAYmh1RQyov9DNaEqSnMougt2Lz8R
https://blockchain.info/address/3CD1QW6fjgTwKq3Pj97nty28WZAVkziNom
https://blockchain.info/address/1KU2bSWmv7i7RD56HyBMTYE6kCYHN5rJ2B (remember sunpower? 1st user of hashocean leaderboard)

Found following the bitcoins of last hashocean transaction

Good job mate , does it mean that the first users are owners of HashOcean ? maybe they are on the Leaderboard just to show that their services are legit Shocked

See the first two addresses, right now are doing so many transactions  Shocked

The Tx Address: 35QnbKAYmh1RQyov9DNaEqSnMougt2Lz8R is actually from a bitcoin trading site, specifically: btcexchange.ph. Its a trading site operating in the Philippines. I know this because this address sent me a BTC once I had withdrawn my funds from their exchange site. Well, it was strange coz this site has suspended their fiat withdrawal and can only withdraw thru BTC.

So are they related from one another? HashOcean and btcexchange?

no, as for me i didn't know.. friend of mine invited me there 1,5 year before and i invested there a little amount, something about 20$, and forgot about that, and one day before they scammed (june 25, 2016) i found 155$ in my wallet!! so i thought -it is amazing site! i must invest more there and i will get more!- so i did some resarch, i read a lot about hashocean, everyone wrote the best about this site and said that you can trust them! i didn't find any negative opinion about them in the internet!! so i invested there 100$ and the next day they scammed(((

Well, you made some profit anyway. 155-20-100=$35.  Grin

Everybody was saying that the site is amazing because it was paying and because they want referrals to earn comission.
But here on Bitcointalk many people said the risks about HashOcean. It`s the best forum to know more about everything related to Bitcoins and another crypto-currencies.
those who always sharing referral to this kind of website and promising shitty thing which is too good to be true should be considered a criminal as they taking advantage of other people when the people they were reffering had been ripped off by the site and the one who reffering got a commission, shitty satanic circle

simple rule, dont trust companies that 1.) are not registred, 2.) have fake adresses and 3.) a hidden "who is". (work of 5 minutes)
why should anybody pay for privacy ? no legit site does that.
And ive sold a lot of domains in the past two years ...

Yeah this are important. but 1 more clue, we need prove for cloud mining like pict or video, and cloud mining it's never provide for link reff.  Smiley

Thats why this hyip well easily scattered because many people are hungry for refferal bunos eventhough they know that the site that they refer is scam and they didnt care what will happen if they reffered in the late stage and their refferal might be scam thats why we should really avoid the sweet talks of people in fb groups because it will lead to our money gone flying.
