Attention! We are looking for a linux tweaker and hardware overclocker.

We are a large Europe based data center.

We start a competition for a person, who can provide the following:
1. Overclock as much as possible GPU for mining without stable work loss.
2. Choose and/or optimize most effective GPU driver.
3. Tweak linux to improve mining speed and stability.
4. Create a self-monitoring system for miner, that minimize downtime of miners by any reason.
5. Decrease power consumpion (if possible).

Configuration:
HP desctops (several models) 3 GPU each
Sapphire R9 370/380/380x/390
Ububtu 12.04 at the moment, could be changed if needed
Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred Miner

Please provide me short information of you and your skills in mentioned areas of expertise.
Then we'll have an interview with you via skype.

Payment for this project is splitted for 2 parts: advance payment before start (based on interview) and the second after successful project finish.

All expences during the project (flight, hotel, transfer) will be payd by us.

Amount of payment will be discussed with successful candidate.

BTW, they contacted me to help them, looks like they are building a really very large farm.
But I could help only with miner setup/config, not with hardware or Linux, it's not my area of expertise.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Hi.
I have small farm (23 x 380 )
All based on my modified linux (mint).
My OS has few nice things that i have done:
- ofcourse fully autostart HW and autostart mining without interaction
- connecting to one central tunel (if there are few locations)
- monitoring via zabbix centrally - i can show you some screens
(cpu temp, system info ram cpu load etc ..., grpu FAN/temp and also hashrate

- also some watchdog script on miner itself (reboot if it sees errors in dmsg)
- adonitially hard reboot via custom power outlet managed by IP if no ping is comming from miner
- centrally managed operations like upload to all miners new config with new version of miner ( stop / start all miners)

- 13 years experience in linux (i am mainly linux admin and also windows)
- php,mysql,bash,windows
- 9 years experience in lan/wlan networks
- 5 year exp in mining bitcoin/litecoin/x11/ethereum (building hw, mining, etc)
- also some overclocking but with ethereum nothing special
- i am not cheap
- i live in Poland
- i have VAT EU company if needed

Really large  Wink

It's a reason why we are looking for a high level professional. Every percent of power is significant.

I've chatted with this person.

They don't give much details about the pay or who they are and what their business is.

The whole thing seems very sketchy and I advise whoever takes part in this to go with caution.
