Average Age of Bitcoin users

Bitcoin is basically a coin of tech savy people. So I guess, most of the bitcoin users are within 25-40 years of age.

Like I am now 30 and I know few more people who is within 27-30 years of age bracket. usually old people are not that much tech savy people. Hence very less amount of people above the age of 40 uses bitcoin, That's what I think!

Agreed. There's a lot of people in 25 - 40 age range that needs to find side jobs, and bitcoin is a great way to earn some money.

I think so too that the age of 25-40 age range are mostly the ones who use bitcoin. They are the ones who are more exposed to the evolution of bitcoin and the evolution of new technology and the one who can afford to buy bitcoin because most of them are employed and has an extra money to spend some in bitcoin and also needed some extra income because this is the phase where mostly people are starting to be breadwinners of their own family.

i am 20  i am sure the age of bitcoin user are different age of people old and young mean 20 to 55 year old are using bitcoin and know about the bitcoin and i am sure bitcoin will be more powerful and stronger in the future  and i hope bitcoin will be survive always .

The ages of bitcoin users are varying ( but not 55+ as those people now are not able to give time to bitcoin and now they do not feel that they will need to work online) especially those people are there who often search on internet for online jobs and online earning money.

yes you are right that its unable to know the accurate age of bitcoin users because there are different age of people are using bitcoin so its too difficult and impossible to know the average age of bitcoin users.

I'd go with young adults primarily. Of course there's a handful that are outside of this age group as well.... The younger generation would have been the bulk group who were around from the early days of bitcoin as well.

Very interesting poll, I was thinking about it recently about how many old people around me doesn`t have wish to learn about new things, for them bitcoin and internet, is since fiction. Only when new generations come we can expect bitcoin to gain more popularity. This thread shows how many young people are interested in bitcoin, and for sure when they grow old, new generations will also use so in future many new users will join into bitcoin movement.
I voted for my age, between 31 and 40, and I see most people are in that range between 22 and 40. Situation will change drastically for 10 - 20 years I believe.

I think the youngsters are more at bitcoin, the older one who already have got their job do not search to earn money online and are managing in their salaries while those elders who were already in online world earning are now on bitcoin and if we talk about youngsters then I will say that nowadays because of unemployment every younger person try to search on internet for earning money online.

In my experience, most Bitcoin users that I talked to were either has the same age as me (around 18 years old) or somebody who already has a family to support. Unlike in online games, never have I seen people younger than me in this place. I might've stumbled upon some of them, but all of them are just in the newbie phase and never get out of that phase. Maybe the age has a factor that created that fact, maybe their minds aren't matured enough to understand the gist of Bitcoin.

The average age of the whales/large investors should be 40+

I dont know other users age but I am 20 years old.I think most people are young who use bitcoin because old people dont adopt new things quickly

Between 20 and 30 or 30 and 40. I can't be zure, we need to take in consideration  that bitcoin have 7 or 8 years, so people with 25 years in that time now have 32 33.
I have some very young friends on facebook, they are in bitcoin community for some time already. Also there is older people, I think they have more money for investing then young folks.
It's hard to determine average age of bitcoin users, to many people are involved now. With new generations new people will come, and current user's will be older, one day bitcoin will be widely used, so its natural to have all generations involved in this bitcoin world.

Just wondered what age the average buyer of Bitcoin is. Myself I'm 36.

I think is ranging from 15-60 years. old are the buyers/users of bitcoins. Besides bitcoin is very open to anyone who will adopt what bitcoin has and what it can give to the users through the benefits of it and advantages of having it.

I think bitcoin user age range is is between 20 years. that age is still active to quickly accept the new technology.
and also on the range of our association is very broad so as to facilitate the dissemination of information about bitcoin.

Actually i think bitcoin is a work for every age, it doesn't matter what you have age, it does matter how you can earn from bitcoins. Because Bitcoin is cryto money and it doesn't look at the age.
But about OP, i submit the vote, of above 31 to 40 age people. Because i am 31 years old and i feel i am lucky because i know about bitcoin.
