It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Why do you think that random noob showed up with a picture earlier ?
Here i will re-post it for him since he can not embed images..

(THX & credits to fushh for the picture)

So tell us what does that say about "warning" ..can you read FUD baby crying Troll whiner ?
Easy to whine and cry like a fucking bitch AFTER you took a front on us for MILLIONS.
..in exchange for worthless scammy ICO (not a currency) scheme tokens.

You are the one Trolling and posting FUD on my topic not the other way around.

Even if this was an actual legit fairly distributed NON-ICO "CURRENCY"
All of that shit would be HIGHLY scammy behavior !
AND YOU KNOW IT !
If the Litecoin or Bitcoin teams pulled any of that shit the public would erupt with anger big time.
So cut the stupid crap.

When you post comments that fucking stupid you should be demoted.
If this was my forum i would knock you down to "Hero" member.
Bcause you clearly know fuck all about Crypto kid.

Your comments are stupid and worthless crap..
You contributed no information but instead tried to *insult* me.
But you failed because i am not insulted.. sorry.
I said here years ago, i am bullet proof & take all comers.

Why did i create this topic ?
People have been warning me about various things going on with WAVES.
If you look at that picture earlier it shows a Waves forum guy trying to explain
..*after* the fact.
Get it yet boys ?

How do you define a scam around here ?
I would say by all the stuff that has been coming to light about this so called "coin"
Is my definition unfair or inaccurate ?
If so why has no one tried to refute our claims and simply resorted to calling me a Pedo etc ?
Besides.. even if i liked young girls does that make WAVES legit ?

Oh and guess what ?
Alexa Rank for, www.barelylegal.com = 261,698
So it would seem a few other people like "young" girls too Wink

Anyway if you all have something to say about the topic then have at 'er LOL
If you have personal issues with me ?
May i suggest paying for some time on a shrinks couch to ball your eyes out like a bitch ?

LOL you whiny little suck-holes REALLY don't like getting your hand caught in the cookie jar do you ?

The name of the website you looked up is "Barely Legal", meaning they are at least 18.  I think kiddie porn is VERY different than what you desribe, but hey maybe in your eyes there is no difference between an 11 y/o and an 18 y/o.  To the rest of us you are The biggest Scum on the Earth.

Now to keep it on YOUR crazy diluted topic, could you actually provide us some real proof there is a scam going on or is it going to be a thread with lots of circumstantial evidence and conspiracy theories?

That trust rating accusation came from VOD.
He left me that AFTER i posted info i found on Google highlighting *HIS* Pedo accusations.
So he did it back to me right afterwards (but with out proof)
http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Martin-Lawrence/Select-StateProvince/Martin-Lawrence-vodmlawrence-pedo-bitcoin-St-Albert-Edmonton-St-Albert-Alberta-1158255
So.. he did that to get back at me.

I also made this topic.. [NSFW] [XXX] Up & Cummers AFTER he made his accusations.. i found it funny  Grin
You will note i posted no nude pictures and provided no links to X rated content.
I simply named some girls that were in porn these days *legally* (all ages verified)
There is no such thing as any PROOF of Pedo crap with me.
It has only been thrown at me here at Bitcointalk by childish grown men who have personal issues with me.

I wish i could take credit for being some "devine level" Troll
I'd feel gratified with a sense of accomplishment.. but alas
All i tried to do was talk about Crypto Coins.
And apparently i managed to get a rise out of a few you and clearly struck a nerve.
Me thinks someone has some bags here ..i have tarnished with my Evil FUD LOL

Anyway go nuts i don't care what ya all post..have fun  Cheesy

PLEASE allow me to get this topic back on track people Wink (NOW 2.0 = fixed a lot of spelling)
..some food for thought on WAVES !

actually wave is a good trading platform sasha and his team just need more time to make further progress with unlimited marketing .FYI wave system is completely different from eth&smart contract.

It needs time for unlimited marketing ? uhh for what ?
No seriously, what in the hell does Waves even do ? I have no clue !
The world is going to come clamoring to bitcointalk to buy 100% premined ICO tokens from your bags why now ?

Let's consider what "IT" really is and then lets realistically gauge the value the public has or will have for it.
And then this has to be tied to it's security, functionality, intent and fairness etc.

For example,
- How useful or NEEDED is the thing in question for the general public (now or later)
- How secure & fair will they consider an ICO app's "platform scheme token" ?

If it is no where near useful for it's intended purpose then why is it posted as an ICO then ?
Did it occur to you all that maybe the exchanges should be SELLING "tokens" when..
..the car you bought ACTUALLY drives ?

If this all *NOW* just amounts to Crypto-Kickstarter then what happens what a coin like WAVES
collects your REAL MONEY for ICO scam tokens then fails on it's future promises ?
What happens people ?
YOU KNOW !
You go broke and the douche bag dev's & friends walk off with millions.
And since this is NOT the stock market they have no SEC or FINCEN etc hunting them.
Kickstarter ?
I watched ALL OF YOU dive on BlockNET way back (another million dollar $ scammy ICO)
And i waited silently dropping the matter and came back in a year
and guess how many of you were asking about the progress of the intended platform / service etc ?
Probably less than 1%  Shocked

You are caught red-handed guys.. you have no retorts to play.. and the public sees it clearly !

I could go on but, i am trying to get all of YOU to "go on"
I am far more interested in getting people to stop for a second and think carefully.
Because it does not seem like you are all doing that.

You all just seem to be swept up in greed hysteria foaming at the mouth over the prospects
of a digital ICO token get-rich-quick scheme.. regardless of what it is.
Like is it a currency ? NO then what are you doing here ? Was it Bitcoin that got you here ?

And why are you all supporting these ICO schemes that are NOT a currency..
in order to get something else a currency Bitcoin / FIAT ?
Wait, i answered my own question above.
Profit ..this isn't the stock exchange(s) though so that is a huge FAIL !

Then lets go right back to fairness and security..
how fair is it saying you are going to 100% premine a coin then put it on a centralized exchange
..for profit ?

"utility" ? Do exchanges provide some part of the coins intended purpose ?

How many of you use your ICO tokens like Waves or ETH etc at places OTHER than Poloniex etc ?
..if you have no other use for them why the hell would the general public then ?

And how secure are these 100% premined scammy profit pyramid scheme tokens ?
Ever heard of DAO ?
Secure ?
ICO tokens are no safe & secure "investment" vehicle.
They are a beyond volatile scammy "investments" the SEC issued a fraud warning alert about
..for a reason !

If you wall want to talk about REAL honest legit clean & proper investments then lets talk.
But don't sit there and spoon feed me yet more moronic scammy ICO retorts,
trying to claim these digital-ponzi-tokens are NOT nothing but Pyramid Schemes.

You all CHOOSE to spew dumb bullshit so you can make money off it with these scammy ICO's.
You all know damn well you have no real NEED for a block chain platforms or app's or smart contracts..
JUST BECAUSE they were added to a block-chain codes wise.

You are all playing dumb.. crying FUD for bucks $
(real bucks AKA: Real Money)
How do i know ? Because you all probably took REAL MONEY out of your bank to "invest" with.
And no tacking on mining to your scammy shit scheme token scam does not make it legit..
It was still a scammy ICO launch.
That stupid stunt Butterin pulled was like..
A bank robber telling you later he donated some of the money to good causes. LOL
Yeah ? uhhmm so fucking what  Cheesy

Many of you here actually can not even read.
Which is a pity because that is where you are warned.

Sorry i hate to be so insulting but..
Most of you in Crypto are deceitful, stupid, brain damaged, corrupt or Mentally Ill or suffer from ADD.

All you will see here is, where does it show me a chart on how much profit i am gonna make it ?
Then proceed to run around defending what ever you invested in pyramid scheme you are participating in.

At the end of the day you are stuck here ..crying FUD for bucks $
Because the general public sees what i see or they would ALREADY be here in the MILLIONS (along with us)
But they are not ! So you are not fooling anyone !

There is almost 1 million user accounts created here.
And there is an estimated 2,300 user online at once daily.
So who in the fuck is it that created a BILLION DOLLAR market cap for ETH ?
Or paid a few million for Waves etc etc ?
Those 2,300 people in all of crypto must be pretty dumb rich huh ?  Cheesy

Who cares as long as i make ANY amount of profit ?
Fine.. let me know how that works out for you.. you HAVE been warned of the MANY risks.

Maybe it's time Crypto grew up and acted it's age, it's been 7 years.
Childish ? ..or dumb / delusional ?
Why the hell do you all think all my comments are so long ?
It's like explaining why things are bad to children who never "get it"

One thing is for sure, there are consequences for your actions .

Basically, the convoluted scheme that has been sold to the ICO purchasers, is somehow the Wavesplatform is going to run as a "decentralized" exchange. Supposedly, customers will get to convert their BTC, other selected alts, and fiat into tokens that can be traded on the Wavesplatform. All transactions and exchanges will cost the customer Wave tokens as the fee. Somehow, this is supposed to more secure than a centralized exchange, because the customer will have the private keys for all of their "tokens." It's really a crock of shit. The real BTC, alts and fiat will still be under the control of some entity run by the Waves teams. What use will these USD tokens and BTC tokens be if somehow this entity's cold wallets get "hacked" or somehow, someone "hacks" into their fiat bank account? The tokens that the customer bought that now reside on the WAVESplatform blockchain will be worthless, even though the customer will still have the private keys.  Cheesy
Their whitepaper is somewhat vague, so I may have it all wrong. But I think that I have the jist of the vaporware being sold to people right now.

What I don't like is that they locked their thread. There was nothing wrong with the thread while they were gathering funds via crowdsale, right? Move the discussion to another place if you want to, but don't lock the old thread, because of some FUD....

So it's clear.. i NEVER did post at all on their locked topic.
I looked at the last page to see if it was REALLY locked. (before posting here)
I seen some guys bitching maybe but i did not consider it "FUD"
..my perspective on *last page* anyway.

And yeah of course there was no reason to lock it.  Undecided

I encourage users to discuss whether people think it's a scam or not.

I also apologize for the personal off-topic drama posted here before.
I can not control my "fans" from coming at me on random occasions.
Just ignore them and carry on with what ever ya want to say.

I randomly get personal attacks that require me explaining..
It's up to you all if you want to skip over it.. i have to say it though (they force my hand)

ICO's are dead like Dodo Bird #FACT
Look around the ICO scene is unraveling !

There is new unmoderated thread started by seccour https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1529178.0 so developer locking original thread wont stop the fud if this really was his reason. It is also noted the developer tried starting moderated ann but locked that also https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1515581.msg15249338#msg15249338.

Yeah, I saw the new thread (though I am not following WAVES). I'm not sure why they locked the thread, but moving the discussion elsewhere didn't do any good for most (if not all) ICO's, crowdsales or whatever.... it has always been proved as a bad sign. If I was dedicated to a project, who gathered millions of $, I would care less about what people are saying in here.
