I thought you did not need to be difficult to use paypal for payment method. because I see almost every site accept paypal as a payment option. very rarely I see "accepted bitcoin"
I really want to use bitcoin like paypal. accepted throughout the premises and stores

We all want to use bitcoin like paypal, but the current scenario is not allowing us to do so, and I think we need to wait for some more time so that bitcoin gets accepted everywhere.

Well, I don't really like to use bitcoin exactly like paypal but I do want to use bitcoin as something BETTER than paypal. The good thing about paypal is that nearly every site has adopted the use of paypal and we do hope that nearly the same or more businesses, be it online or real world, would adopt bitcoins.

I only use gaypal on ebay because it's almost mandatory there.

I've been waiting for years for an alternative to ebay and gaypal.

I hope I don't have to wait much longer.

I hate paypal but sometimes I need to use it for some website and customers who don't have bitcoin.

I don't know why people still using paypal on most of there transactions. Paypal has high fees and can froze your account anytime they like. And withdrawal to banks takes 4-7 days. Where as I can withdraw bitcoin to bank isntantly without fee.

Paypal has a bad rap for online person to person deals because of the protection schemes in place. It's far to easy to say your account was hacked and reverse a transaction.

I sold some digital codes to a guy. He later claimed his account was hacked and asked for a reveral. Fortunately, I had a seller protection. So I did not have to refund.

You were lucky!

How much did you pay for seller protection and does seller protection waived the buyers right for refunds?

Let's be honest, there is a small repulsion from the btc community towards btc paypal because of the refunds,... But, let's be honest a second time, Paypal is just an easy way to pay with online. But I'm having trouble finding some decent markets/sites/services that still accepts paypal.

So yea, my question: where do you guys still use paypal nowadays?
After PayPal stole $10 from my account and not let me recover it, I haven't used PayPal in about 5 years.

I'm fine with using paypal online, but i'd totally rather use bitcoin. Paypal has the annoyance of all their hidden forex fees and stuff.

I only send paypal; I don't receive it. I'm a trusted member on other places, so people are fine with going first. But I can't say the same about others.

I do not think, that PayPal is popular. Yes, there are a lot of sites, which use PayPal as a payment option, but I do not think, there are people, which use it. Bitcoin is more popular.  Wink
