Just checked and can verify that the Discord channel for this coin disappeared without any announcement. My friend is still invested to this coin so I just want to ask if anyone can provide the updated link for the channel, if there is any. We're getting updates from the Discord chat and without it, we don't know what's happening in the development of this coin.

Good to see that the community around this coin is still striving hard to support its price and to find usage for it to push the price up. My friend is still staking this coin and just waiting for the price to go up. He still believes that this can create a comeback with the help of people around it. It appears that people are coming back to altcoins and here's to hoping that some of them take a look at this coin and invest in it. Just drop the bass and not the price.

Well what about Doge then? It has a much bigger supply and look where it is. That is why so many of use here are saying that if 808 coin does get used as a currency then the price will come back up. Doge is accepted in many places now and we just need to get 808 coin accepted in more places as well, I tried to get a casino to accept Doge a while ago back they were not taking any new coins. Once this happens then we might see 808 coin rise again.

Unfortunately, the coin supply is not all that is needed.
DOGE has a huge infrastructure (faucets, HYIPs, exchanges, wallets, various services, etc.)
DOGE has excellent speed and low fees.
Finally, this coin is known almost as well - as bitcoin.

From what I understand once the volume is rising with the other markets and remains that way then I think we need to send in a request to Cryptopia for them to add the BTC market. This same thing happened with 1337 coin and the dev sent in a request to add the BTC market. The Doge market is looking good for 808 coin and hopefully this can continue and then one day we'll see the BTC market return.

QUESTION:

  Is it even possible to run an 808 QT wallet on a Raspberry Pi 3 running Raspbian?  I don't seem able to find any wallet for this system and I don't seem able to compile it from source either.

  I tried git clone the project into my raspberry and when I go into the 808 source directory ./xcomp.sh will exit in error.  I tried to go into ./src/ and I do  make -f makefile.unix I get a bunch of errors too and does not compile.  I'm fairly new to Linux/Raspbian compiling (after weeks I was able to compile a BTX wallet but that is unrelated to this) so any help to get 808 running in raspbian is helpful.  (If at all possible). My Raspberry uses an ARM type processor, so this might be a problem.  Is there any apt-get install for this???

I've noticed that nobody is really promoting this coin and not letting anyone know about this.

There is at least $2 billion dollars stolen every year on the Hyip market. We can redirect a lot of that into 808 coin EVERY YEAR.

Thanks for sharing this mate, true I don't see many people promoting 808 coin much any more, I have slowed down a little on tweeting about it as I was sick of the people replying that 808 coin is dead. We are far from dead as the coin seems to be doing well even without a BTC market.

Staking Question...

Got my first staking rewards over 30 days ago... Combined my coins, then started staking again. It's been 31 days and had over 22K confirmations, but still no rewards since. Today I noticed my "Unlock wallet for minting only" wasn't checked. Has this been the issue the whole time for no staking rewards?

Will I get the rewards for those 31 days, or will it start from the moment I've checked it?

Great to see 808 coin up 200% in the last 24 hours. It looks to me that a lot of these low sats coins are getting a pump up in recent days. PAC, EMB, 1337 and many other low sats coins have been rising and now it looks like 808's turn to receive some of that action. I think the price would go a lot higher if we had the btc market on Cryptopia, its a shame they closed that market so early just like they did with 1337 coin. Lets keep this momentum going!

You have 3 block explorers on the OP, not one of them has the past 7 days of transactions.

NO WORKING BLOCK EXPLORER MEANS A DEAD COIN!
So fixing it ASAP, is a requirement.

does sanyone have a better way to sync hte 808 wallet?

It's been 3 hours and the wallet on my main pc keeps getting zero connections. My laptop works and both have the same exact .conf file.

It's very irritating. Next weallet update really needs to increase connections

My connection was multiplied last time when I forwarded the port(8087?).
I'm not sure which port was and I'm away from home now.
