I'm a computer science major and i thought i could write a script that could help me in a website called bustabit. When everything was ready i launched it, without even testing and 5 minutes later i lost all my bankroll of 0.5 BTC which was all i had. I'm still devastated.

That usually happens when people are ignorant and they don't listen what others are saying.
Script won't help you to win, it won't increase your chance to win, winning strategy doesn't exist.
Sooner you realize that the better.

People are going to be always ignorant and there is nothing that we can do about it. Sometimes being ignorant and do our own decision is much better then following people. Some people are only able to give advice but when something wrong happen they wont be responsible for that so it is better to be regretting your own decision then to follow someone's else

No, it's not. If thousand people say that gambling strategy which will help you to win doesn't exist, scripts won't help you to win, martingale will lead to bankruptcy no one should ignore it.

Some people are only able to give advice but when something wrong happen they wont be responsible for that so it is better to be regretting your own decision then to follow someone's else

Yup, there are people in my area that will do anything just to have something to bet and that's a very bad sign. Gambling is for the people that is passing their time and want to relax if you want to gamble but the money is lent you're just going to let yourself sink because you are depending on a luck money that if you lose you have nothing to turn into because in the first place the money you have bet is not really yours. That is called addiction and you must never borrow money for your own personal desire. Think of something more important than your childish plays.

For some people it is their way of living. It is not really childish play and I say to let people die in their own desire because he seems to know his mistake there. It is the same as people that buy alot of toys although for me I dont see any purpose for that. It is very silly and I dont think that it is worst mistake. The worst mistake is to never realize that they are addicted

Making mistakes is always possible in gambling because it's addictive by nature, if you are weak you can easily fall unto the trap because you always think of the money you can win and you will not be able to consider the risk and your low chances of winning. When you feel you are challenge, you will do things to improve your skills but if you choose the wrong game, it would not give good result, the only thing that would happen is that you effort will be wasted.

They are blinded of the thoughts that they could win big in gambling if they are going to try it, maybe it is because of the people they see who wins big in gambling and instantly thought that they could also be like those people, but it is not that easy. Gambling is a very risky game where you could reach the point that you will have financial problem and going to start borrowing some money on your friends.

As for my worst personal mistakes, they have been due to misscliking when playing poker: folding AA preflop, going all in preflop instead of folding, folding instead of raising with nuts in the river and the like.

This is not worst mistake. What I think is the worst mistake gamblers always do that they know gambling is harmful. They are losing every penny of them. Everything is coming out of the pocket but nothing is being debited in it. Still they go to casinos and online gambling sites and gamble. Still they lose and the next day, keeping the yesterday’s loss, they play again to get back the amount.

Keeps on doing it but if they do it with the money that they can afford to lose is even better than playing once but with the money that they cant afford to lose. Means that the frequency is not the main problem but the amount that we use to play is the most important thing.

Both are very influential, when we do too much, it can become a habit and make gambling a habit is a mistake. The amount we use to gamble also affects, when we gamble with the money we should use for more important purposes, it is a mistake.

You tried to debug the script of bustabit in your advantage? LOL if you will keep on doing that and you don't want to play against the house fairly you'll just be ending up with the same fate. That's the worst mistake that you ever think and I forgot to tell that no one can beat the house even you have that script you made becomes successful.

Investing and risking your hard earned money in gambling is a risky indeed. There are numerous examples where youngsters ruined their little money they have in gambling. Risking your money by earning in shortcuts mostly yield negative result.

It’s sad to hear your bad poker experience. People get better in this game with the passage of time. We just need to be careful about the timing of gambling and our earnings.

The best thing I did in gambling was the gambling because they blinded me by saying that I had a lot to spend on it at the time of gambling so I was forced to walk because of your many resources gambling is a vice that when you start it you will be having trouble avoiding it and the point that you are going to spend is that you have no gambling and you can gamble your property up to nothing left in the gamble so if you gamble Now just avoid this.

the worst mistake i made is i was going to bet with 0.01 but i press max button with odd x5 and i lost all my balance from there i start to check the amount 10 times before i press the button to play or to place a bet.
and the other maybe when i withdraw my profit to a wrong wallet address and lost all again i have a lot of stupid mistakes.

I think the worst mistake one can make with gambling is not walking away when you're losing too much. It mostly happens, unfortunately, because people always wants to get back their loses without any control on spending. Gambling can make you lose your money in a glance without you even noticing, which means that having self-control to stop when you're losing so much.

In poker game you could get better as to know your chances to win and how to bluff but sometimes in another game, getting better does not mean anything at all. There is indeed no rule or principle in gambling that can make you win the game at any cost. This is the reason why people are always in loss because of gambling. This game is totally dependent on luck. Without your good luck, you are unable to score good in this game.

Indeed it wasn't a mistake , but inside of the game you will feel have made a lot of mistake as mostly you have got lost instead won it.
