Gambling vs Betting

We all know betting is better then gambling because you have a certain degree of control. I wonder who of you have gone from gambling to only betting now much did your profits increase and what difference does it make ?

I did not understand about this question because I think  gambling and betting the same thing equally in gambling
betting one type of gambling, gambling consists of several types of games one is betting commonly used in sports gambling

If you ask me about betting and some types of gambling I'm more profit from betting but not from winning  bet only profit from the various promotions and contests 

Gambling vs betting there are allot of people who think ghat betting is another thing than gambling but both is the things you are putting
money into it you know. So if you put money into something you are gambling!!

Both are same, I think you consider sports betting as gambling and dice as betting, in that case I would choose gambling over betting because I can predict some matches and not just depend on luck.

Over all I do find more significant similarity between gambling and betting as both are good for you only when you are extremely lucky.

I think OP has made a mistake in his title, gambling and betting are the same thing, so it would be odd for OP to ask that. I think he means to say Gambling vs Sports Betting, as Sports Betting doesn't have a house edge.

In that case, yes, I used to place bets at dice and not win often, but now I bet on sports and I win much more frequently. I bet small amounts for fun, but I can still look at my winning history and it's better than the history I had at dice. So yes, sports betting is better if done right.

Sport betting is way better than normal betting and its also way easier, more enjoyable and you can also mostly make more money in one time.
I think you cannot have a real tactic on it but some teams are better than other and can mostly predict the results in the most cases of course not all of them..

Sports matches are also unpredictable sometimes.

Sport betting might be more fun because you hang out with your friends and eat and have alot of fun watching the game. But its alot of work and harder to predict the outcome. With dice its much faster and easier.

When he says betting I think he meant sport betting.

Of course all gamble is betting, but he said that you have control when you bet, so I think he meant sport bets

For me both betting and gambling both are same. Only think is in online games one may lose money very fast and in sports betting it takes some time to know the match results. For addicted people, they won't stop whether it is sports betting and online games until they lose all their money in hand.

Betting in sports is easy if we know the game but now a days lot of uncertainties causing to guess results correctly like match fixes. Most of the sports are hit by these match fixes so even we bet based either teams or player past performance, we still can lose our bet. So bet carefully.

I think no strategy will work in Dice games. The only method if it works means that is our luck. Luck is no there you will not make anything in Dice games. SO yes sport betting easy to predict but now we are facing some issues in this also. But there is no other choice to make money gambling this is the only easy solution so try your luck here I think you may make some money.

In all types of betting, there is a risk involved. But compared to another type sports betting is bit easy. Here if we have knowledge of sports and player performance means we can easily predict the game. But now it becomes bit tight because of some issues like match fixing is happening in all types of games. So here also trust on your luck and play if you are lucky you may win your bet.

there will always be uncertainties in gambling no matter what kind of game you are playing because it is a game of risk and even betting on sports falls under these rules and is not any exceptions. the sports betting has a difference and that is information that you should have if you want to bet and win.

Betting is also a kind of gambling. I think betting is sports is lot better than gambling in dice sites or casinos because there is total luck but sports betting depends on our knowlegde on sports strategies and luck as well

Gambling as in casino games playing relies purely on luck. Poker playing is dependent on luck as well but we have that skill factor mixed in there because more experienced players tend to be profitable in the long run. My favorite is sportsbetting because I love watching sports games particularly football and being able to bet on my favorite teams at the same time just sweetens the deal more. However sportsbetting does depend on the luck factor as well because other people who you can't control are playing the matches and you make your bets based on your knowledge of the sports and the current trends and statistics in the leagues and tournaments. gambling like slot machines and roulette no thanks...I mean if your
in vegas or reno I always set asside a few hundred to blow on games
that require no skill and maybe get lucky. But I would rather play games
of skill like poker or betting on sports etc

granted even with games of skill like poker and betting you still need some
luck cause ace ace can lose to 2-7 off suit and your team can fumble 6 times
but I still feel better when / if I lose if I can justify it by knowing I made a smart
bet and got unlucky. I just feel like crap if I lose 100 in slot machines.

I think OP has a point. The two mean the same thing in the gambling world but they have different implications. Betting may have 2 meanings. 1. Place money where you think it is lucky. [/b]2.[/b] Put your money on where your analysis is. Gambling can be a general term and it's the same as taking risks. Mostly "betting" is used on two entities playing against each other. As to gambling is most used on dice or any related games.

Its getting more popular by day but this is because the bitcoin community itself is growing and everyone loves gambling so now and than.
Another fact is that there are a lot of casinos and its very attractable to try out your luck of course.

I wouldn't compare let's say sport's betting to gambling,cause i would say it is two different things.
Sport's betting does not let's you take "certain degree of control" cause all you control is the bet you do.
We have many suprises in the sport too,that some really bad underdog wins with really good team.No control at all,same as gambling
