We all know betting is better then gambling because you have a certain degree of control. I wonder who of you have gone from gambling to only betting now much did your profits increase and what difference does it make ?

I did not understand about this question because I think  gambling and betting the same thing equally in gambling
betting one type of gambling, gambling consists of several types of games one is betting commonly used in sports gambling

If you ask me about betting and some types of gambling I'm more profit from betting but not from winning  bet only profit from the various promotions and contests

It's right mate, I am also confused, I figured gambling and betting both are same, because in both case money is involved, But you clarified my doubt, Gambling means game involved money, and Betting means we will put our money in a game, wow nice answer mate, Now I understand what exactly OP is asking. No matter what angle you will see it or define it, still a nonsense thing to ask because gambling and betting are just the same because how would you do gambling if you dont bet? Therefore, betting is definitely a part of gambling and theres no point on comparing them.

yeah that's right. i actually had to reread the first comment saying that we all know betting is better than gambling lol. whichever way you put it there's really nothing to compare. it would just confuse you thinking about it if there is a difference between the two.

i think its not the same thing like you said. gambling is like to be an activity that we do in the games, and betting is like something that we do to predict what is will be out in one games. the activity and the predict is 2 type different thing that we should understand.

Well, betting and gambling do have differences. although it is mostly illegal, and equally risking something, but the betting has a high chance to win than playing gambling, because the game of betting, you can still analyze the possibilities that will happen before you bet

I confuse because I think Gambling and Betting are just a same things.
Gambling is a game which need a money on it, and Betting is when you place your money in Gambling.

I too think both are same thing, to me the whole process from start to end is being called gambling while betting is the amount you risk/put in one time, for example some time we say that while playing gambling I play some big bets more that 1 bitcoin each.
In other simple words : betting is sub set of gambling.

There might be some problem with how the OP construct his sentence but it does not need a genius to figure out what he is trying to say.  Some one had guessed that what the OP is talking about is gambling games like dice, slots, roulette, poker, blackjack and other Casino gambling games other than sports betting.   

And to answer OP, I never gone to sports betting only, i still play games in the casino sometimes because this two have different level of entertainment.  And sometimes I'd rather experience the fun in playing casino games and sometime sports betting.

when its talk about risking money we could actually call it gambling because when theres a money hanging with 50:50 ratio thats gambling thats why betting and gambling is almost the same but you're right that betting sometimes an agreement and that agreement usually use in gambling which your money is recorded as your bet.

That is right that in betting we have control but the amount is often high in betting for sports than gambling so I often try online gambling and in gambling people get more fun than sports as in sports we only bet our money and then watch the sport to wait for our bet to complete while in gambling we play ourselves to win.

The gambling means instant money doubler. And betting means you have to wait for some time to double your money. Both will need investment, but the playing process changes that's it. And I sports betting is depend on your skills but the gambling games depend on luck. End of the day both will give the same result it's loss.
