Doesnt R7 work ? which exactly you mean ?

I am looking how to hot fix this buggy miner Smiley

It doesn't seem to be working on R7 240 cards. The rig doesn't show up on my dashboard at all.

Works on my R7 370 cards just fine. I have one Asus Strix R7 370 and a Gigabyte R7 370 in one rig, simplemining easy os works just fine, I'm getting over 20 Mhs, no overclocking.

Pool has problems like most of them,
Wallet client of zcash is fucked up.
Miner is also fucked up, we need to restart it every 30 minutes becasue it sends stale shares and no earnings.

v1012 update

If you are sing zcash miner - autoreboot every 20 min will happen.
This is due to bug in miner which sends stale data after some time !

I'm trying to use SimpleMining on my two ming rigs.

One has 7x 290x
The other has 6x RX480

Both rigs only have a total hashrate of 110sol, on the 290x rig the CPU(2.8GHz Celeron G1840) is at 100% load, I suspect it is struggling to provide the GPUs with work as I can see they constantly switch between idle/load. In Windows 10 I'm getting the same total hashrate with the non-silentarmy miner and cpu usage is <1%. Is there a problem with CPU load in simplemining or is it a problem with silentarmy (Doesn't work on Windows 10, crashes on load)?

On the RX480 rig I suspect I have the same issue. Only 4 cards work properly, but they still only give me 25sol and not the 40+ I was expecting. One card only mines at 9sol and one other card crashes alot, when it doesn't I get about 130sol. In Windows I can pull the same total hashrate with the non-silentarmy miner, and all cards provide the same performance of 18~19sol.

Is this something you can fix? The CPU load issue?

Thanks very much for the hard work on simplemining OS. It's been a great test tool as I mostly mine in Windows.

I guess i cant.
I think miner is not working correctly and causes amd driver to crash.
I saw this on older version of Claymore miner.
Can you look what is taking 100 of cpu?

I'll try and look, but bear with me, I have almost no experience using Linux. Is there something like Windows Task Manager installed as part of this Linux build?
