with the fact that in the config there are too many gpu indications it causes the miner to crash because 3 of the 5 settings are null and void and not present so how to i completely shut off communication with your website? that way it wont over write it correct?

i am not asking you to do custom for me i am asking if i can shut the updating off so i can correct it?

I'll try and look, but bear with me, I have almost no experience using Linux. Is there something like Windows Task Manager installed as part of this Linux build?
Login via ssh to root@192.168.....
Pass is miner1324
Then execute command htop

On the 290x system there are maybe 20+ miner threads, between them they account for the 100% cpu usage

Has another update just been rolled out? The hashrate of both my mining rigs as almost halved in the last 10~15 minutes Sad
Last update was like 6-12h ago. I suppose its the miner fault.
Also the update that reboot rig every 20mins was the right choice.
It mines more and  no stale shares.
Waiting for fixed miner ther i will disable this.
Anybody Has any problem z because auto reboot every 20min?

I've manually rebooted both rigs and they're mining again.

Still, on the 290x rig, there are 28 instances of silentarmy miner running. 7~8 of them taking 17~% CPU time each, the rest <1% CPU time.

Should there be so many instances running?

yes i can clock it but what i can not stop is the over writting of the config file and changing the parameters so my two gpus do not try to be the 6 gpus that are in your config! plus the config file has many parms that need changing for my cards and im not asking you to change them i would do that but what i am asking is how to shut off the required communication with your server so you do not have the control over it and i can change what is needed for my rig?

By default there is 2 threads per one gpu.

This case is difficult to implement this miner because it uses not line parameters but config File.
I might try to do second miner with one thread per gpu.

The miner only changes wallet linę in this config File. It doesnt touch the rest.
Update could change config File.

Another much smaller issue, on my 290x rig, the first six cards are using a worksize of 256, but the seventh card only has a worksize of 128.

Switching to 1 thread will drop hashrate.
btw why you choose rebooting the system instead of killing and starting miner again?
sometimes my rig cant recognize flashdrive after restart and stuck at boot Sad
