I have an error when usb key boot : usb error 64
Os launch, i come on bootloader where choice : ubuntu and ubuntu advanced. I select ubuntu press enter but after this
Ubuntu try all usb (usb2-2, usb 2-3 ...) and show this error usb error 64.
I have try every usb slot, same error, try rx1019 image and r1019 and i have put my email in config.txt.

One card is mining very slow as the dashboard says its clocks are 300/300. All the other cards are only running at 600~1000mhz on the core.

Same here RX1025. I tried Zcash with just 2x470 one seems to work(but how?) and other one clocks 300/300(works slow). Also ETH same problem, in console i get "Failed to set new fan speed, check if miner has root access!", one card works, second one slow(clocks 300/30)

I've fixed all the speed issues.

Could you tell us how? Environmental variables? Drivers?

In my case the card not mining was on a PCIe slot set to GEN 1. I changed it to GEN2.

However, the miner has locked up twice now after about 15 minutes, even using stock GFX card ROMs. So there are other stability issues, probably relating to the general protection fault.

I have the same problem miner crash. so I go to OPTION .... -> Save and reload again. The miner will work again.

OS doesn't work for me. I followed the directions, but when I go to boot a PC from the drive it doesn't work and plugging the drive in to a computer after flashing over your OS to the drive always says the drive has errors. The drive works fine though so it's not the flash drive.

Try without Memory OC. Helped me.

So I was getting 500 sol/s in Windows with claymore v4. But now only 390 sol/s with SimpleMiner 1025
EDIT: Other than the general protection fault message still appearing, I've fixed all the speed issues.

Problem with speed is random and its a kernel bug.
I am already working on new linux kernel 4.9 which generates faster rates and propobly fixes overclocking bug.
I need to test it and  i think about upgrading it partially.


If you have those errors then something is wrong with this miner.
Updates v1013-2015 didnt mess with linux system itself, there were only miner updates and few other fixes.


Anyway here are variables you asked for:

Same problem here. Drive usb err 64. I have try on 2 different rig, image was put on 32 go pendrive. I have try two sources r10 et rx10..
Maybie could you upload most recent release ?

Try changing USB options in motherboard BIOS.
I could uplaod new image but later today/tomorrow.
I think it is bios option becasue most people dont have this problem.

Bro what sols are you getting with stock memory in rx 470? I could downclock it if the error will go, but I want to know how much sols I will be losing.

Hello - I had big hopes for this because it was the easiest way I could find to use the new Optiminer.

I have been using Ethos with the Silent Army v5 and it's been good but Optiminer is supposed to be better right?

I have R9 290s, 290Xs and 380s.

I tried your Simpleminer, got it to boot, got into the web management OK and tried to set up for Optiminer.

In the "mining console" on the rig's screen I see this message:

 /root/xminer.sh: line 24 /root/miner/optiminer-zcash/optiminer-zcash: Permission Denied

I don't understand that, do I need to chmod +x something? Why permission denied?

I was able to get Claymore Eth miner to work but I would really prefer to be able to specify which pool I use since I don't really like Dwarfpool.

I would really love to see Optiminer working and what hash I can achieve with it. How can I fix this?

I would be willing to make a small BTC donation if you can help me make this work.

HOW TO CHANGE FANSPEED manually in a headless multi adapter setup PLEASE?
As my cards are burning with optiminer where is no chance to control fanspeed like in claymore!!! Seems like I lost couple of cards last night - I don´t blame you, I do understand what I left its with poor "auto" configuration, just please give us instructions how to control fans i your OS.

aticonfig --pplib-cmd "set fanspeed 0 xx" do work only for 1st (0) adapter, DISPALY=0.1 also do not work.

is there a script on sturtup I can edit or smthing besidfes manually updating? May be you can just give us a script to run manually when needed till you implement fan control in OS?

I have R OS and 7950/r9 290 cards

Zcash optimer work, i dont have desktop but it work

I have question, is it possible to have old radeon and new rx470/480 on the same ring ? At this time i see only radeon rx but not 280.

Tomorrow i will try to release option in dashboard so you could set your own target temperature.
I will also try tomorrow make R OS auto fan controll.

I had to stop, cards reached 80 degrees and the fans didn't started. rx 470 4 gb.
