Wink Buy it Guys, before its late!Crazy Orders on Poloniex, its been almost month from the last High!
Project has Super Potential,I also like their site,The way they Can mine, its so different!Pretty sure,Its worth buying now and keep it for 1 year.
If U Look at altcoins with good projects in the past with around 2billion + supply, it can pass 30 cents...
so 10x+ is coming pretty sure, its still not too late!!! Wink

BURST BURST BURST

Burst Coin is one of the best projects out there with avg marketcap!

Yeah i agree, me and some friends have looked into different currencies and this one was in our top 3 list. So we're planning to invest around 30.000 euro

It doesn't really matter what HDD you use as it's based on capacity. We are currently mining with 5 Seagate drives and 1 WD drive and we have seen no difference in read speeds. I know the Seagate 5TB drives are pretty fast at reading the drive but I think it goes for almost all drives. We went with Seagate as they seem to be the cheapest for us to buy in Australia compared to other brands.

Read speed on the Seagate Archive 8 TB is a little lower than most other 8TB drives, but we're talking a difference of 150 MB/s appx to perhaps 250 MB/s for the best other Hard Drives on a SATA 6GB interface (15k RPM drives excluded, those are CRAZY expensive).
SSDs manage quite a bit higher of course, but are severely overpriced for their capasity and you don't NEED that kind of speed for BURST.

The true key to BURST mining is "lowest cost per TB on a reasonably reliable drive with decent read performance" and having enough CPU or GPU to handle the capacity of your system fast enough to get the deadlines out on a consistent basis before the next block activates.

That is where the Archive (and the other SMR drives on the market to a somewhat lesser degree as they COST more per TB) shines.

BTS Bitshares at 2.6 billion circulating supply at 9000 satoshi vs Burst (with smart contracts) at 1.7 billion circulating supply at 650 satoshi... Price  so low? What's going on?

It's called an investment opportunity.  Smiley

BURST has been growing significantly, it's not like it's going backwards... still a TON of upside imo.

Not when you look at other crypto currencies like Doge,Reddcoin,NEM, Bitshares and many other high total supply coins. Compared to the ones I just mentioned Burst still has a long way to go in price and can easily be worth 0.10 in the near future. Also I think Burst has more to offer then these other coins I mentioned so just over 2.1 billion Burst coins isn't really much compared to others out there that are trading at a higher price.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

That is also what it's capped at and won't get there for several years.  Currently at 1.7 billion+ in circulation.

We are adding another 8TB to our Burst mining set up which once finished plotting we give us just over 24TB. To keep up with the mining difficulty and increase in miners joining every week, we will try and add at least a few TB extra every month.

BURST and MAID both expect you to dedicate HD space to them - so they'd be competing, not "compatable".

Same on STORJ - you can't use the same drive space for all three, though I suppose you could "split" a drive and run all 3 on separate parts of it.

In my opinion they can can be complementary. Storj and MAID simply have to recognize Burst plot files as virtually free space and a smart software on top regulates truncating Burst plots for MAID or Storj needed space. Also this smart software can automatically rebuild the plot to maximum size when the space is not needed anymore from MAID or Storj network.

Kaspersky is deleting the Burst wallet. It says it is a HEUR trojan. I know that false positives do happen but people using Kaspersky who don't know that might just not even bother with it. Maybe you can give a warning of potential false positives. Unless it is a trojan Tongue

Which web wallet are you trying to log into? This web wallet is working just fine however you may need to give it a minute or so before it does eventually log in https://wallet1.burstnation.com:8125/index.html Sometimes there is a lag so give it time and it should work as I just used it to check my balance.

HEUR means they don't have an actual "snapshot" matching it as a trojan, but their "heuristic" methods think it is.

IME that sort of thing out of most anti-virus makers just CAUSES issues because of them generating a ton of false positives - and when they delete stuff (like Windows broken Defender does) WITHOUT EVEN ASKING YOU FIRST it's more than just an "issue" (which is why I ALWAYS disable that damned "Defender" shit on any Windows installation I do, it's a so-called cure that is WORSE than the problem).
