Gambling is illegal in most countries in world but that is in not opening any casinos or any gambling store there are still many people who gamble among them , over the phone or in group in a society or just random people
Plus there is always online gambling sites which can be easily accessed through vpn, the reason all this is allowed because there aren't strict rules if the government wants they can easily track all these activities they just try to ignore it

i dont think governments sees gambling as an oppurtunity. you know gambling is actually restricted all over the places , how can they collect a tax thru it if it is banned? governments are against it and they shoudnt allow any kinds of illegal gambling but i agree that online gambling is hard to stop because people can always use vpn or virtual private network in order to change their ip address and region , so that they can still access those restricted sites. therfor we can still play gambling even if its ban in our country,.

Yes, i would still gamble, because its good for pastimes and its possible that we earn money easily in the very short time if we lucky. That's what we trying to avoid as much as earlier don't commit to gambling there's nothing good things bring you aside from losses.
For me, my self, I didn't ruin my life in gambling just to chase money on it there's another alternative way to find a money.
Find a decent job is highly recommended if you played gambled games while it illegal in your country, you might be caught and in jail.

Maybe a country that does not prohibit gambling can take taxes from casinos, but a country that forbids gambling does not think of taxes from gambling.

To be honest, gambling is only legal in the casino's. So technically, gambling is illegal even we are at home yet we still gamble because its fun. I will still gamble as long as its indoors and its just me and my friends. It's fun to play when there's money at stake. It will get the best out you because you are in fear of losing your money. I would if I'm think stupidly but I don't think that way in real life. It's just like illegal drug, if the authority sees you using it then expect that you'll be imprisoned.

This imprisonment is compulsory. If such punishments are not there, we would be so human-less. We will not be compromising on our relations, norms and values, cultures and everything else that is related to humanity. Gambling is harmful for us and we know it. The thing is that people will always find a way to still do what they love even if it is illegal and still find a way to stay outside the government's radar. Obviously, if you go against the rule, the law will not be there to have mercy on you but you will have to serve your punishment.
