Anyone over 45 should be killed. They're worthless anyway.

Is this a joke? So when tou reach 45 can I kill you at that moement? You say it like it is normal to just kill old people. You didnt even think that you will get old too.

LOL I'm 62.  Why even talk about someone's age or gender? People on this forum think if you have gray hair or a vagina you're going to have problems with Bitcoin.

I guess you dumbasses can't read. This is the post I made after the first one. I was making a point.

Again, for the visually impaired. I'm 62.  Why even talk about someone's age or gender? People on this forum think if you have gray hair or a vagina you're going to have problems with Bitcoin. Stop making threads about age or women at all unless your a sexist ageist dumbass.

People just tend to jump in and comment without reading the last two or three page of the thread.  Well they think it is a waste of time but they should because people cant comment properly if they just jump in and comment.   And honestly somehow this thread  or actually the last part of this thread made me laugh.  Anyway Old peopl are wiser than younger ones but younger one are innovative that they improve old peoples work.  That is the reason why ancients are the one they seek for wisdom and knowledge because they are experience riched.  Oh BTW many early people in bitcoin are at old age I think.

You're probably right or they're just spammers for their sig campaign. You're spot on about the age differences too.

But there are some old aged people who are totally not aware with the new technologies and they do not consider it important to learn it as they do not understand the importance of it, and on bitcoin most people are online earners and the elders already have their job so I think more are youngster as they in search of earning come here.

That's also a prejudice. That would be like me saying the reason so many exchanges rip off bitcoiners is because they're young and young people are stupid because they lack life experience.

Not some, most elderly people are not familiar with bitcoin and this is not something that will change.
It is not bad btw because bitcoin is not meant to be for all generations. We as a generation see and understand it, so we use it.

Although I have not seen but its not impossible since that's one of the characteristics of Bitcoin which is anonymity so some people could actually be older than that. Everyone one wants to make money which is not defined or a function of age...

There are a large number of old people earning bitcoin online.  They  are learning more about it as they go along and they want to know more about it, so they are on forums like this learning more about it all.  The more people the better.

It's possible maybe There's a person that is above 45 years old owned and earning bitcoin i guess most of them are focused on trading or the other sites that can give them entertainment just like gambling . Maybe there is also a member of this forum that is on that age .
Ofcourse there are. Even they are old, as long as they have enough knowledge about bitcoins and how its operate. Theres a way they can earn bitcoins. 45 years of age is not that old. I saw a 70 year old who is using computers and she is better than me. Lol

Age doesnt matter. Age is just a numbers but knowledge is all that matters.

its not too late to teach an old dog a trick. A 45 year old guy can buy a bitcoin video tutorial from lynda.com or udemy.com and learn it quick within just a week. its a perfect plan for newbies actually. One can consider this if he entirely don't want to go out and do a 9-5 day job. after learning bitcoin, he may be able to write articles for bitcoin.

45's not old.  I think there are plenty of people on this forum in their 40s and above.  But if youre talking senior citizen age, 65 and up...not that many, though earning money through sig campaigns wouldn't be a bad idea.  The average senior citizen doesn't know anything about bitcoin, so that's not likely.

If the original Backside walkaround can prove to me they are the old owner of this account, I can update the email address to the email address of their choosing.
Backside walkaround has lost access to their account as they used someone else's email address to sign up, and the owner of the email address got tired of random email notifications from this site after a few months and reset the password.

Hello guys,do anyone here know's some old person's who actually make bitcoins by investing them or i dont know,by signature campaining ?
I was wondering about it for some time,i just never heard about someone older than 45 years and making bitcoins.
I know some people here with aes ranging from 30 to 40.
Old people provably have a more stable way of earning bitcoin rather joining a signture campaign to spam the forum. LOL.
Maybe the old ones have their own company now. They may even have their own savings already to not need to work for money anymore. Cheesy
Old people still need a way to make money since their pensions can not support them any more.
You must of heard of people working until they are into their late 60's and no retiring haven't you?
People no matter how old they are always looking for a way to make money so they can survive at times really.
Yeah your right, Instead of enjoying life of their age its not happening nowadays, and its a saddest part actually. As far as I can see Bitcoin is a good thing for the older people. why? because Bitcoin is amuses everyone also the community realize that with this thing they do more better than they did before once they find the advantage of having a bitcoin. I think there is no age limit in earning in bitcoin there is no rules that if you old at 45 you can not gain income in bitcoin and also blockchain can not detect if how old are you because they not required to put your birthday before you enter in bitcoin community.

I think most old people would think of Bitcoin as a new generation thing. I highly doubt that they would be interested in such things.

But there are quite a few exceptions. I have a couple of relatives who are over 45 and invest in Bitcoin.

Maybe some just dont know what bitcoin is yey. We know some old people just want news in television or newspaper. If we can manage to reach that kind of advertisement then it might also reach them.

A few of you actually made some intelligent posts and gave counter-examples to the premise that "old people don't use / can't learn bitcoin." But the vast majority of posts were made by people with their heads up their asses. The amount of generalization, stereotyping and just plain stupidity is bewildering. I read all 11 pages and was going to post quotations from every page but gave up about halfway through. Didn't bother to correct the original typos and bad grammar.

- you don't see any old people around the forum
- they are just use bitcoin to gamble online
- older people tend to not do anything, they do literally nothing
- I don't think they would want to earn bitcoins
- the old folks likely wont even understand it
- the only people over 45 that are messing with Bitcoin are broke and desperate to make a few bucks because they were too stupid to put away money for their old age
- if you'll talking about 60+ years old I guess it's impossible to them to entered this business or joining Sig campaign
- elderly people dont really want to earn money or something,
- they usually go to church,go for a walk watch TV and that is basically their whole life
- they have very limited activities as compare to the young ones. they young people have to do their job or to give time to their business
- they are still holding there bitcoin to make a profit .. just to hold it and sell when the price of bitcoin is getting high
- I don't think that they are the ones who directly manage their investments. They are too old to understand. They may have someone who helps them maybe a younger friend or their kids
- I don't think there are people older than 45 know bitcoin. it's just my prediction

Really? Well, I'm by by far the oldest person by a long shot on this forum right now, and you have no idea how hard I work. Most of you would wither under my circumstances. And yet I still make / find time to learn about bitcoin and emerging fintech. I also know more about bitcoin than most of you. And I'd venture to say I own more bitcoin than most of you. (Plus I've invested in 6 other crytocurrencies.) My whole life isn't going to church, going for walks, and watching TV. I don't hold bitcoin just so I can  sell when it's high. And I don't gamble with it. (Gambling is for suckers.) When I buy it I keep it. Furthermore, I'm not rich. I manage my own investments, which are almost all digital assets. And frankly, when I try to talk to young people about bitcoin, almost none of them have a clue what I'm talking about. A few here and there say something like, "Yeah, I've heard of it before." I wonder why there's such limited knowledge among the young people I talk to? Should I conclude the following:

- they spend too much time watching stupid Youtube videos to get involved with bitcoin
- they spend too much time taking selfies and adoring themselves
- they spend too much time on Facebook or Instagram or texting while walking or playing Pokeman Go
- they're lazy slackers who don't value education and continued learning
- they can't even put together a coherent sentence, so how could they understand the complexities of cryptocurrencies or blockchain technology?

You get the point. Think before you speak, people. If you don't see a lot of "old people" around the forum, at least part of the reason might be that there's not much worth reading here. It smacks of middle school conversation.

And now to the OP's question regarding signature campaigns. What a colossal waste of time! Why would I spend my valuable time churning out posts just to crawl up some stupid food chain so that I can earn nickels and dimes? There are better ways to make money and invest in BTC.

There are better ways to make money and invest in BTC.

of course there are better way yet still this old man has to spend time learning bitcoin. youtube video tutorial will do and will help an old man learn so long as he get to sink into his mind.  We're talking here to an old man without any savings in life who just work in a factory so a bitcoin knowledge can certainly help him.

Smiley Smiley

Indeed, It really amuses me a lot while doing bitcoin. I'm wishing that one day there will be a special project to all 60yrs old and up that  there gonna have a weekly pension by means of bitcoin to all senior citizens. But I don't know how are they're gonna do that. It could be through investing in different bitcoin mining sites. What do you think?

I think there is no age limit in earning in bitcoin there is no rules that if you old at 45 you can not gain income in bitcoin and also blockchain can not detect if how old are you because they not required to put your birthday before you enter in bitcoin community.
Exactly, I really do agreed with what you said, and that's the good thing about in Bitcoins. Our identity is very safe and secure, isn't? Even for  a kids is open also, if some of the age below 18 years of age as long as they understand what bitcoins is, they are welcome in this field too. I will be if many of the old people will participate int his kind of field industry in Bitcoin. Wink
