I think this is a stuppid post!
If you drink a 40 Year Oporto wine
you are gonna ask how many people
drinks the wine or do you simply enjoy
the wine.
This is not about a 90 years old lady trying
to send the taxes via Internet.
Grow up, you are talking about the
the people who invented and coded
exactly what you are doing!
Go play with toys.
Hahahaha
Congratulations newbie, you get a gold star. You are the only one in this thread to realize the developers and creators of Bitcoin are old people.
Harold Thomas Finney II (May 4, 1956 – August 28, 2014) was a developer for PGP Corporation, and was the second developer hired after Phil Zimmermann. In his early career, he was credited as lead developer on several console games. He also was an early bitcoin user, programmer and received the first bitcoin transaction from bitcoin's creator Satoshi Nakamoto.
Gavin Andresen (born Gavin Bell) is based in Amherst, Massachusetts. After graduating from Princeton University in 1988, Andresen began his career working on 3D graphics software at Silicon Graphics Computer Systems. In 1996, he co-authored the VRML 2.0 specification, and later published a reference manual for VRML 2.0. Born in 1966 makes him 50 years old. Satoshi made him the lead developer for Bitcoin, he holds the Bitcoin alert keys and is the chief scientist for the Bitcoin foundation.
Adam Back (born July 1970, 46 years old) is a British cryptographer and crypto-hacker.
He is the inventor of hashcash, the proof-of-work system used by several anti-spam systems which inspired a similar system in bitcoin. Hashcash has also been used in a number of other protocols such as combating blog spam, and defending against user namespace pollution.
Today he is President of Blockstream, a company that seeks to further the development of bitcoin and blockchain technology.
David Lee Chaum (born 1955) is the inventor of many cryptographic protocols, as well as ecash and DigiCash. His 1981 paper, "Untraceable Electronic Mail, Return Addresses, and Digital Pseudonyms", laid the groundwork for the field of anonymous communications research.
There were roughly 20 people involved in the foundation of Bitcoin, from Wei Dai to Nick Szabo and not one of them is under 40 years old. We can also assume the design architect of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, was also at least 40 years old.
So, I guess all of you are right. Old people can't use or care about Bitcoin. All they can do is invent it. O_o
