If price falls to that level then most of the user will prefer to buy bitcoins but it would be really hard to digest the loss who have been holding their coins hoping to make profits.

I am at the opposite side. My feeling is that it will slowly go to sub $600 for a while and stay there. But of course in time it will go up again and hopefully rise above $1000. But there has to be a stimulus that will cause a rise. My theory is a great financial crisis that is going to happen in the European Union will be the stimulus. Bitcoin will be considered and will be classified like gold where it will be a safe investment.

Agreed with you both on that the price is stable and don't change in the month of august unless something big will happen and after something big happens in the market the price will be less than 1000$, it will not cross 1000$ in the next couple of days. It will cross 1k$ in next year.

The price has been rather stable at the $650-$660 range the last couple of weeks. It has remained that way even before the halving event took place. The last big surge and drop happened during the Brexit poll result. If this is just a consolidation phase we are seeing, we could be headed towards $700 by mid August.

I think the stability is quite similar to the one during the first 5 months of this year. The price rose a lot since then.

Financial crisis will tank the Bitcoin price. Nobody is going to flock to a risky, speculative asset when they're afraid of the future economic prospects. The only reason Bitcoin is doing "well" now (relative to where it has been) is because investor sentiment is flying high in the US. This fantasy that Bitcoin is going to hold value like gold in a financial crisis is foolish.

Exactly hard to predict anything in bitcoin. It took a slow dip now, the racing Steem seems to have experienced a bigger slowdown. So there can be a chance for crash, if anything unexpected happens hope price come up again.

You are right something big will happen, if not in the coming month then, in September or October, but I can say that at least the price will not drop, the future of bitcoin has been started and now we can expect a price rise.
