Less than a single BTC lost because I was experimenting with BTCJam, thinking I'd probably lose something. I kept reinvesting with just BTC1 but with slightly careful choices.

Seems that wasn't good enough.

Bemtje, Paranorman, SynOps all overdue.

O well, experiment concluded :-)

MY STATEMENT:
I fully intend to repay. I have got behind over the last week or so. I am in the process of moving into an office that isn't just an office here in my home and one that isn't 50 miles from my house. Traveling was getting ridiculous and being home was not proving to be productive most of the time when I was home (family life gets in the way to easily).

At this time my office away from home does not have internet yet and I also intend to update my business information with the state and county, this is taking up a bit of time away from work to do this myself, but its required for me to get back running 100% again.

As for anyone concerned, no need to be, I answer your emails, pm's, and telephone calls, and update the comment section on BTCjam frequently! I am ahead in payments on some of the loans, while I just recently got behind on some others. You can see my stats on BTCjam and see that I do pay!

AS FOR BTCjam OVERALL:
I do NOT plan on taking out/asking for any more loans from BTCjam. I will keep loans to real investors and not a community of "who dey be?" people.

I stopped loaning there a while ago because the site owners never reply back with how I can recover funds from those who default.

Thanks for the statement SynOps. I do view you as the more reliable guys.

MPOE-PR, thanks too. I was hoping I could prove that thread wrong. Strange the way all the defaults all came all in one go. I thought I had mitigated from that.

One thing I could have done was just go just for USD denominated loans.
The rep building is kind of destructive too it could be argued... but perhaps not conclusively... perhaps safe just not to support it in future.

I was aware of BTCJam being risky. I kind of made it my little game to try to see how long I can keep the coin going before going bust... didn't last long! I was going only for very reputable people but still it didn't go well. I had ebay links, otc ratings, phone number verifies but of course sometimes it doesn't always go to plan.

For anyone interested, here's a list of my current loans. As you can see it's all very small, just an experiment. If I can get back to a level field then I can prove to myself it is possible to make money on BTCJam. If not then... it's a very useful lesson for all... kind of a sad lesson... but usury seems to bring bad luck

Just wanted to chime in and say that i've funded synops/s projects on btcjam, and have also done a few trades with him over otc. He's a standup guy, and im sure he will rectify any issues.

No idea who that is, man. You should provide a link to his forum or BTCJam profile.

I'll move SynOps to the green list since he appears to be making an effort to pay back his loans. Keep up the good work, SynOps and thanks for keeping your lenders informed.

Disappointing to see no payments from you, Synops.

It is cause he didn't assume any risk on the loan, I think he should get a scammer tag, he is trying to get out of it cause he is blaming a web site for his defaulting LMAO. Some people never think any risk will happen then it happens his pants are down and now he is saying no the website did this LMAO Some people are so dumb when it comes to loans NEVER INVEST WITH A SCAMMER, he was shady from day one and look now.

Still no payments from Synops, guess he's scamming after all. If anyone has any of his personal information, please post it here or PM me.

I spoke with Synops via e-mail, he assured me that he is still planning on repaying his BTCJam loans. He made a payment today, which is a very good sign.
