Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again?

I only stop if ever i had lost my balance and keep coming back after a week. Im still trying and hoping that one day ill win big thats what keep me from coming back.

yes, all of us wants to win. even I wanting to have a good amount of winning someday. 
But I can also manage my money in gambling, I can control myself in betting so when I stop I can actually go back whenever I wanted, Because I do have a money to gamble, yes not really a big amount but it is enough for me. I just trying my luck.

I have been thinking of winning many times but to no avail I was not able to achieve my dream and now I am already happy to accept that gambling is not for me and I have no chance to succeed in gambling if I long for money.

Yes, in the beginning, i was also started to addict to this gambling like others. But when I felt that I am loosing my personal money that time I decided to quit gambling. It was not possible suddenly, but I took some time and finally I stopped gambling. But now I do only sports betting, and sometimes I play Dice game to kill my free time. But I make a slight bet so if also lose it will not get hurt lot.

I want to say something here, if you can not control yourself and start to gamble again even after some commitments made to yourself then how do you think you will resist betting big out of over ambitious/greedy ?

If we decide of stopping gambling it should be for good and we should only decide to do it when we are already losing a huge amount of money that we cannot afford to lose anymore. In addition, if we feel that you are starting to ruin our relationship with our family we should immediately stop gambling.

The main reason to stop gambling because it ran out of money or maximum limit to gamble
Then go back to gamble after having enough money some people do it including me

I used to play dice every weekend, but now I only play a couple rolls every few months.  I know I will likely loose my money, but I only play a few dollars worth of BTC every few months so it isn't too bad.  I guess I keep coming back, just hoping to make a few bucks.

That is not actually a break you took but more of a control you developed with your gambling.
Yes, though rather than taking a break limiting your bets or limiting the number of times you gamble and the amount is much better.

I have stopped gambling long time ago however after two months played again for few days because i won quite good during euro cup and got excited and started playing around with leftover profit in my casino balance and later on loss few portion of my original deposits i made.

What are the reasons you come back to gamble?

I stopped gambling then started again because I'm addicted to gambling but now instead of gambling too much I do betting and control my gambling a lot better than before.

That means the break you took was a life changing one as you now are much controlled. But most people get even more addicted when they start to gamble again after a break because their anger of not betting so long will come out into bets and hence some big losses.

I always feel like I have to chase back my losses. Every time i lose big, I stop gambling until i get drawn back in through the ads or when my friends win. Then i lose again. It's a never ending cycle

Yes. I was one of them. I stop gambling when I had lost all the money I had. and I came back when I realized that gambling is a pleasure. with pleasure then you will not have the burden to benefit.

yes, I've stopped and did not play gambling for approximately 3 months. but I am back playing again, the reason because when it's an interesting game, such as Euro 2016. after no match I stopped again a few weeks, and perhaps after rolling league game I would definitely bet again.

It is not a very good way to achieving your dream it is very difficult. gambling makes it  even harder.

That's like stop smoking than start smoking again. It is all in your head. If you look at it like "stopping and starting again" you will never stop at all. Just get in control of yourself and even if you smoke or gamble or drink alcohol, dont overdo it. That's the key. Do not distress yourself like "oh no i said myself not to gamble ever again but i think i will" That's also a bad thing. Never say never :p

(snorting cocain or injecting heroin are all in another league by the way, you either start doing those, or never do them. once you start it is over)

I do not know but I think that gambling is not even close to addictions such as smoking.
Because gambling can easily be detached from yourself only if you have a strong will power while if you are smoking you feel drowsy without it even if you do not smoke for 1 day.

I also manage to stop gambling cause it is really draining my money very hard. So i force myself to get away from this mess and i did by focus on daily stuff. I did go back to gambling after half a year but now i am totally able to control myself so i gamble for entertainment now and not gamble more than i can afford to loss.

That long term layoff in gambling has really help you a lot, gambling is really fun the second time around especially when you already learn how to control yourself as you will get the best experience in gambling.

Well if you are a true addict that's what usually happens. Its called relapse. And its not only with gambling addiction its with other addictions as well. Its very difficulty to quit on the first try.

If somebody doing this daily than it happening with all players, sometimes when we lost huge amount than suddenly get stopped due to had a shock, after sometimes when we saw other people are making very easy money from online gambling than start doing this again.

um...can't really remember the reason, maybe lack of money,
